daamn, i activated golden hammer cheat, started new game and what? hammer became gold BUT with old properties. wheres my superpowered hammer ?
I heard it works pretty bad with Dual Cores, but it should be ok on lowest settings. Singleplayer is fully playable with 15 fps.
dual core here works fine and yes singleplayer plays surprisingly well at 15 FPS

I like this game's cheat system. The better the cheat, the harder it is to get it. That is, until you exploit bugs in AI (lolololo sledgehammering gunships from a cliff higher than they spawn).
you mean that golden hammer cheat is just a new model for the hammer ?
you mean that golden hammer cheat is just a new model for the hammer ?
Yes.
So, what's the verdict? Should i buy it considering my specs? I still don't know how well it will run on my computer...
so what i need to do for unlocking that cheat ?
so what i need to do for unlocking that cheat ?
[sp]Kill 100 EDF with the hammer.[/sp] Good luck.
Heads up for anyone who wants to get all Guerrilla actions complete. Do the radio jobs when they come up, otherwise later they won't reappear until you go to the exact spot that triggers the job. I'm missing 2 missions, and i can't find there locations. But because your now on PC, they probably patched this issue, I'm on PS3 and we still haven't had that problem fixed. Gold hammer is fucking ugly, and it's SP only.

do i allowed to use "no green alert" cheat? or achievement won't complete?
Wish I weren't at a damn bedsit, I've got no net to play on. It's just shitty, but I manage to play with around 150-200 ping in this game with a guy in a country close by. I want to play with you guys. :frown:
do i allowed to use "no green alert" cheat? or achievement won't complete?
You cannot unlock anything at all with cheats on, nor can you save.
Guys, I was getting some salvage when I saw this hiding behind a mountain what is this? It's not rideable and i can't blow it up.
It's an easter egg.
Its probably the Mars Rover, you know the ones America launched to mars to dig at the dirt and such.
Mars rover. Where is it by the way?
Did anyone notice that the first Ultor ruin you break into in "Ultor Echo" has the same shape as the room where you fight the dude with the nano-tech shield in RF1, up to and including the raised platform with the ramp up to it, and the little seperate compartment of the room with a stairwell leading into it that Parker entered from (You entered from the side that Eos did). It's not a straight rip, because it's not underground, but that part of the complex was pretty close to the surface, so it's not inconcievable that there was a collapse that revealed it.

Am I the only one who loves the crouching animations?
I was hit with instant nastalgia when I heard Capek talking to parker but it was only a recording or something. Then I noticed it was the room where you fight capek and treated it as a holy place and didn't break anything except a door. Now I want to go back through it and see if I can retrace Parkers steps and go back through the facility, but I know you can't. Also has anyones else found Parker himself in the badlands? I found him and listened to him for a while, while i broke down his house.
How is that possible? He died a long time ago...
How is that possible? He died a long time ago...
That's just what the EDF want you to believe.
What? Ultor? So this is connected to Saints Row 2?
It was an easter egg kind of in sr2
For anyone in doubt about running it in their PCs, I can run this thing on High at 1280x720 with an AMD Athlon 4600+, ATI HD 4670 and 2GB RAM averaging at 40 FPS, dropping to 20s on intense moments.
What? Ultor? So this is connected to Saints Row 2?
What the hell, haven't you ever played any other Red Faction games?
What? Ultor? So this is connected to Saints Row 2?
Ultor was first introduced at Red Faction I, as a huge company, began as a clothing company on the 21st century, and expanded their business through mining, in the future, Ultor took advantage of Earth's lack of resource by mining on Mars.
What the hell, haven't you ever played any other Red Faction games?
Actually, no, I ordered it too late. :(
Ultor was first introduced at Red Faction I, as a huge company, began as a clothing company on the 21st century, and expanded their business through mining, in the future, Ultor took advantage of Earth's lack of resource by mining on Mars.
Thanks for telling, without playing the other games it just seemed logical considering they are both by Volition.
