I was the same, when I noticed the similarities to Capek's labs I didn't want to damage it at all apart from the door you have to break through to get to the rest of the ruin. There is also an airlock with an old security APC sitting in it, just like how you found and left the one in RF1. I was trying to work out if any of the other parts of the ruin were from RF1, but I didn't see anything, maybe the part with the radio tag in it is supposed to be part of the medlabs? ( Stretching it a bit)

Game has been on the internet since the 11th.
I pre-ordered this game on steam it came with Red Faction 1 and 2 for $40 bucks. Money well spent. This game brings out the "Jihad" in me.

hey guys, i've made a mod for red faction guerilla.
1- vehicles have more armour
2- combat walkers appear fairly often
3- salvage worth more (20 instead of 1)
4- more enemies to blow up
5- more guerilla squad members
6- nano gun is more explosive, automatic fire, more rounds, blast radius bigger
7- m16 machine gun lots more ammo per magazine 400, max ammo now 1200, faster fire rate
8- remote charges bigger blasts
nowhere near a great mod at the moment but will definately make game bit more fun, give it a go if you want.

Paste misc.vpp_pc file into folder Program Files\Volition Inc\Red Faction Guerrilla\build\pc\cache replacing existing file.

Someone should make a mod that adds the old Ultor weapons, and give them to the Guerrillas and the Marauders. In fact, I think the Marauders already use the old Ultor Shotgun, don't they?

i think the weapons from DLC can be brought across to the original game and used, but have to find out which models they are from the hundreds of files here. in dlc01, dlc02, dlc03 folders. but not an impossible task...
also made the machine gun fire those blue edf grenades like granade launcher instead of bullets but too powerful by far, and the edf also have same weapon so you die in seconds if you don't kill them first. so took this out of the mod.
is anyone else working on a mod? want to work together?
