My computer can't even run Crysis on medium, and RFG runs very well.
Maybe it's just you.
Just got done with an awesome bunch of RF:G games. Very well optimized game.

Really? I'm the other way. I can run Crysis on High or Very High but RFG is the only game I've ever had to run at 1600x1200 with almost no AA. Maybe it hates nVidea or my processor or something.
I think your computer is in it's rebellious phase.
It's those damn Macs next door, I knew they were a bad influence.
I don't get why people say the PC port sucks. I've had no problems with it.
It's buggy as shit for me.
I have to run it in Windows 7 else it'll freeze and crash. but even then it will crash the first 3 times I try to load a save, and then the loading times are huge.
Dear god the final mission is the least fun experience I have had with any game ever.
Driving that fucking tank was more of a chore than anything.

Almost makes we wish I waited for the PC version.
I can't figure out how to install the SP reconstructor :sigh:
It's horribly unoptimized.
It is only horribly unoptimized in fullscreen.
I have to run it in a window set to my monitors resolution and I just drag the window to get the whole picture on screen.
In windowed mode it runs way smoother for some reason.

Yeah, same here.
Running highest on:
9800GTx+
2GB Ram
3.0 GHz Duo
Also, 400w :v:
Just traversed the Free Fire Zone onto Eos :D
Just traversed the Free Fire Zone onto Eos :D
I hated the Free Fire Zone, although I got through it on the second try. IT WAS HELL!
Just traversed the Free Fire Zone onto Eos :D
I thought that was really easy. But I am a really good driver and stuff so yeah.
The only problem with the free fire zone was the other drivers.. But even with them, I did it on my first try :D

Seriously... Spent more than 3 hours just to learn that I was damaging my own tank than the enemies were. I fucking raged, but it made the ending all the more satisfying
Yea you can't run shit over in the tank because it hurts the tank, it's so dumb I wanted tank rampage, that is the same with the walkers, they get hurt when breaking shit. it's so dumb.

I liked how they had that one lady panicking because her partners head got blown off.
And once I got back to base I found her talking to someone about it.

We have almost the exact same specs. I have a regular 9800 gt with small factory overclocks, 2 gb ram, 3.1 GHz amd dual core, and 600w power supply.
FYI, for those saying that the performance is better in windowed mode, it depends on what Direct X version you're using with the game.
I'm using the -nod3d9 launch parameter so I can be sure I get DX10 (and sun shafts) when I play it, and I have to run in fullscreen to get good performance.
If I use the -nod3d10 parameter (and remove the -nod3d9 one), I get great performance in windowed mode.

How do I know if I'm running in DX9 or DX10? I tried adding the -nod3d10 parameter and ran in both windowed and fullscreen mode, and I'm still getting horrible amounts of lag. The game literally stops for minutes at a time, with only seconds of normal speed in-between the lag. The lag happens completely at random.
What's that about? It's a vehicle but you can't enter it,no enter sign appears, did devs forgot about it and left it in?

"easter-eggs" are small "bonus" added by developers for the player...
