Hello xxxxxx,
Thank you for contacting Steam Support.
As requested, we have processed a refund to your account.
Your confirmation number is: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Your bank or credit card issuer will return the funds to your account - please allow 3-5 business days for the funds to be posted.
If you require any further assistance, please let us know.

Update on the refund, remember, there won't be ANY custom maps in multiplayer as long as there's no map editor. (Can't even hack it since there's probably no way to download new maps from a server)
i just brought it off steam, mmm awww yeah. I need to get purefaction for 1 and 2 though.. So i can tunnel my way through the map to the end like old days
:dance: :dance::dance: :dance: :dance:

Why are you getting a refund?
I would have gotten this game, if it wasn't for the fact i choose crappy Prototype over it (they came out at nearly the same time. i was pissed because i could only get 1 so i got the overhyped one, big mistake)

Check the last page, no map editor.

I beg to differ.
And some people have fun by making maps and playing on them.
Durr.
As I said, "your average user...".
Then you are NOT a average user, please read the post properly before posting a comeback.

Is it just me or is there no modifications for this game? I really would like to see what the physics engine is capable of but noooo there's no editor.

Apparently it seems to be a good port.
They also said that the two first DLC will be free for th PC version, I'm not sure if it's real or not.
Average user likes to make levels too, if they can.
"If" is the keyword, to be able to make good levels efficiently takes a lot of time with simplistic editors.
The majority of them are probably kids who got their parents to buy it to them, they don't want that, they want to play and blow shit up, not to build and learn how to build things which doesn't fall down under it's own weight.
The average Joe doesn't exist on Facepunch, we all like to "blow our home made shit" up.
I'm not saying i would hate a editor, but it wouldn't do alot of people too much good. Though a plugin to 3ds max sounds good :)
I hated the mission to get through the Free Fire zone. The fucking NPC's kept getting the fucking way. I accidently ran into a couple of them and they blew up.
Why are mainstream devs so repulsed by the idea of people making mods/maps for their games? Because of potential profits DLC could bring maybe? Look at fucking Oblivion and Fallout 3, that worked.

That mission was so easy it was boring. Drive, drive a bit more, watch some NPCs blow up, drive.

I don't think they want to be their game unmoddable. I think that it needs to much work to make all the edit tools for "common people".

Well they should have at least made it possible, even if it is with overly complicated pro tools.
There is the lasted info about the PC version.
1.) Dedicated Servers
There will not be dedicated servers for multiplayer. While we know many of you feel strongly about that, we are sticking with the P2P model like the console version.
2.) PC DLC
The PC Version of Red Faction Guerrilla will ship with the following:
* DLC Pack 1 (Demons of the Badlands) already packaged on the disc.
* Bagman and Team Bagman Modes from our up and coming DLC Pack 2
* Two Exclusive Multiplayer Maps (see below)
* Six Additional Wrecking Crew maps
3.) PC Exclusive Multiplayer Maps
The PC Version of Red Faction Guerrilla will receive two exclusive multiplayer maps, in addition to the regular rotation. You can see some quick previews of them below. These will not be available to 360/PS3 players.
That's sad for the dedicaced server, but DLC are included. (I think that with P2P they mean Listen server)

Yes. Except it finds a new host when the current one leaves.
Any idea on pre-loading from Steam?
Any idea on pre-loading from Steam?
I think it starts about a week before. Also glad to see they're at least giving the PC people a ton more content for waiting so long.
