Yeah, but after you kill about 20 of them, they give up and you win. They don't send in any reinforcements, nor a fleet of any kind, even though there's hotbed of rebellion that they actually KNOW the location of.

It's a bug which Volition games have with W7, that happens with Saint's Row 2 as well, and one that Volition have stated they won't fix, the cunts. Best thing you can do is use a trainer's slowmo cheat or cheat engine's speedhack function to slow the game down to a playable speed.

I don't think the problem come from the windows 7/DX10 combo. I'm also on Windows 7 with DX 10, I nerver had this problem. And when I was on the beta version of w7, I didn't have this problem.
So I think it's more a driver related problem or something like this.
This game is KICK ASS. But i had to reformat my computer : /

For the singleplayer building demolishy goodness, yes. But I've heard the multiplayer is near non-existant now.

Oh man, I got this in the uber sale and glad I only paid £8 for it.
Seems a lot of people, me included have many issues and issues now with the new patch.
It takes like 20 minutes to update with the windows live shit in game, making my PC hang for 5 seconds on and off, then when it gets to the end - it fails!
There's a walkaround for this shit but at 03.30am I really can't be arsed.

Its worth it
I preordered it, played it a couple times and never touched it again.
It's a decent game but Volition is a shit company when it comes to PC versions. I'm probably never going to buy any of their games again.
The only problem I have with the PC version of this is the turret aiming is weird.
