I'm fucking raging at Windows Live. Why must such a piece of shit program even exist. I can't even save/load any games without logging into it.

Alot of people are getting it, have a look at the steam forums for the game. There's been a few workarounds posted but people are getting mixed results.
Yeah, whoever make the ports for Violition or just violition themselves do a really bad job of it. I remember Saints Row 2 being a peice of shit on the PC and me and my friend just couldn't get the co-op to work but my friend says that it runs like a dream on Xbox and the co-op works straight out.

Well the work around didn't work. After trying it I got a different error, bollocks to it. The game seems to run alright for now without it, I'll wait and hope that steam sorts it out.
I bought RF in the THQ pack a couple months ago, when I got it I figured I'd be getting a new PC for Christmas and that the problem wouldn't be an issue then. Upon getting my new PC I found that I still have the problem. The only 2 common variables are my connection and GFWL account. I've eliminated the possibility of it being my account, so it must have something to do with my connection.

Yeah, I tried using the custom .exe to use the patch, the patch ran right to the end and even got as far as installing that crapware whatever it's called but then told me a blink.32 file was missing so it fucked up the whole thing. Looking in the Red FG folder, I can see the file clear as day. Whoever did this patch has fucked it up royally. To hell with it, runs okay for now so whatever.
I got this at christmas, and I think I've had more fun than any other physics engine. I've always wanted to demolish buildings using only a ledgehammer and an overkill of explosives! :biggrin:
Running up to someone at 100mph at the smacking them in the face with a sledgehammer is immensely satisfying, especially when they're sent flying through a wall.

This game is too good, I only recently got back into it, I tell you - Goofing about with friends - Those wierd spinny around mines, Thermo rocket, Jetpack and repair tool are the best things to ever do in this game, shit's appeals to the core of everyone's favorite thing - Destruction!
