Yes, had a Minecraft Servers subforum, I'm sick of going to games in progress and it being full of minecraft servers, or maybe they could have a megathread will all the servers? For me it's annoying.
I think if we split up the games section in to too many subforums, each one will become slow.
Move Models/Skins to the Creationism Corner since modeling isn't restricted to Garry's Mod and can be anything.
There are enough damn subforums.

Well... this one is too active, i see no harm on splitting it up a little bit.
Don't add individual game subfourms, but maybe genre ones? You know, so FPS fans can check out other FPSs, Indie Games board so that all the independent, new, experimental games don't get drowned out by the other threads, it'd make it easier to find threads for individual games, DayZ should get a sub-fourm too though, since it's exploding in popularity, and with the summer sale coming up (and assuming that Arma II goes on sale.), it's going to get a lot more popular.

This make a lot of sense.
Maybe add a general mod forum? Day-Z'd fall under that, so would alot of other things.
This. Just as active as Dota 2.
Dota 2 is valve and it has hats and trading.
That's the major reasons it got its own subforum.
I'm not against a LoL subforum, I'm just saying it would probably be less useful than the Dota 2 one is.
Game Development/Indie Dev Corner?
I really don't think subforums based on the type of game are a good idea. It works for MMO's because MMO's all have one thing in common. The problem with making subforums for things like RPG, Action, FPS, and so on is that they all don't necessarily share a key mechanic. This especially becomes apparent when you have games that merge genres together. If anything adding types of games would be a hassle in my opinion. Like I mentioned about adding an indie subforum, you'd have to go through multiple subforums in order to find the game you're looking for. Suppose you're playing a game that could be an Action game or an FPS then what do you do? You'd have to peruse both subforums. This would also break up the GGD into smaller various subforums obviously. I don't know about you guys, but I kind of like the GGD.
I'm also still against the idea of an indie subforum because there's a pretty big grey area which defines an indie game. It'd be even more of a hassle than the genre subforum suggestion in my opinion. Once again you'd have to check the GGD and Indie subforum. The only viable way I see an Indie subforum working is that it's limited to kickstarters and the likes, you know, the indie games in early development. Even then I'm not too fond of the idea because of games that blur the line of indie.
The only addition of a subforum I would suggest is the game of one of the most popular GGD threads. Right now that seems to be Dayz. So we would add a Dayz subforum. After a few months if Dayz is still popular then we keep the subforum. If it's not then we replace it with another popular game and then the cycle continues. That's the only subforum addition I wouldn't mind to see. To be honest I really don't even think any new subforums are needed.

I'd like this, along with the removal of games in progress, and no subforums for specific games unless they're very, very active ones with a long life. (DayZ isn't)
Well, this or the suggestion below, along with cleaning up games in progress.
Well, another way to do it is like 4chan did it one forum focused on discussing specific games in each thread (Like a DayZ thread, the LoL thread, etc.), and one dedicated to non-specific video game conversation (Facepunch Plays, Video Game Griefing And General Dickery are the two that come to mind.).
add a subforum to games in progress for minecraft servers. so we can actually have games in progress rather than a sea of crappy minecraft servers
the subforums are way too hidden i never even think of visiting them
maybe make a subforum for servers?
Is there still a pornography subforum?
I'm not a huge Minecraft player, but adding a Minecraft server subforum would help clear some of the clutter in "Games in Progress". http://facepunch.com/forums/189
Please create a minecraft sub-sub forum in "Games In Progress"

Or a server section within Minecraft!
Add a Megathread/VideoGameGeneral sub-forum
i vote for more porn
The problem with sub-forums for separate games is that they're infrequently used. The only game big enough in GGD that might make use of one is League of Legends; the thread is huge, and there's the potential of posting threads for builds, tournaments etc. More people play League than DOTA2, even on here. If you were to add a League of Legends sub-forum, you could probably merge it with DOTA2 in GGD to form a "MOBA" subforum. That would get more use than having them both separate. Then people could talk about LoL, DOTA2, HoN and even Bloodline Champions.
A "Game Support" forum would be great. We used to get a LOT of support threads, to the point where I had to ban them because of all the clutter in GGD. Another section I can see being useful is a general "Steam" section, either for Steam Support and/or Steam Sales/Trading. We used to get a lot of those too.
I'm not sure how big DayZ is, but I'm pretty sure it won't use a whole sub-forum. It's pretty well contained within the mega-thread.
That's what I think, anyways. This is my main section for moderation, so I keep a pretty close eye on things
A traditional games subforum would be cool. By that I mean things like 40k or DnD.
I agree as long as League of Legends gets one, as previously said.

That's an amazing idea
I disagree on that DayZ should have its on subforum. It's not big enough, and there wouldn't be much to post about other than
1) omg omg pvp sucks i hate bandits
2) anyone in x I need morphine
3) so today i was blahblahblah
general game mods would be a good subforum, I'm scared to suggest splitting it up anymore or else GGD becomes far too slow
Just not adding these sub forums because most people don't feel the need is stupid, add it for the other large amount of people that want a subforum for something.
LoL sub forum
