Aww, and I just bought expansion. It works though. EDIT: It's prolly a thingy so that people who hogged and horded keys can't use/sell them.

Damnit. I should have activated my key before I left for my honeymoon. Oh well, hopefully they''ll allow them to be activated again soon.

When I try to start Sins without Entrenchment it doesn't start it asks for my email and my key. I had impulse running so that might be why. Whether it's retroactive or just disables keys that weren't entered yet, I don't know. I can still start my game, but it seems like you can't. Try closing impulse and then run the exe.

It's all of them used or not. I had used mine a while ago but it seems that Impulse has permanently deactivated it. The game doesn't check for activation once it has been activated so I'm not sure why mine stopped working. Even if yours works now it won't work if you try to reinstall later.

NOTE TO EVERYONE Do not start impulse if you have a sins of a solar empire key off of this. My friend just got it disabled and he bought entrenchment aswell. Luckily mine still works. Has anyone tried using this key with a retail copy of sins instead of impulse? Because I can burrow a friends cd of it and use that to install with this key without fear of deactivation.

Looks like I'll be contacting Paypal for a refund on Entrenchment unless I get Vanilla Sins back.

The game runs fine if ran through impulse, and impulse only otherwise it needs verification.

Mine SOASE is fine. No deactivation or anything. :smug:

They removed the keys from everyone, so that you can still play SP on the computers you had it installed on.

You buy it. The only way now. Unless there are other CD-Key giving sites.

So if I install it using a friends CD, the online will still work? I might just do that instead of letting impulse kill my key that I got legitimately.

Oh hey guys. Sorry I didn't respond about those Dark Messiah keys. I've been trying to contact them but all the emails I send them come back as failure to send. I'll be trying again tomorrow.

From the looks of it the European SOASE publisher and Stardock aren't too happy with Cd-Action.

Why not? It's free publicity for SOASE, and if the people like it enough, they might buy Entrenchment, seeing as how almost all of the people play online using it.

They weren't allowed to give away keys to everyone just people that bought the magazine.
