Cookiezi has completely ruined the aspect of striving for #1 in insane difficulties. I consider the #2 to be a way more interesting replay than the mass produced hidden+hardrock+doubletime insane-replays of his in 95% of the maps which have simply become a boring "oh, there he is again" instead of "oh wow" like back when it was new.

Do you have the proper Universal Offset for your own preference/hearing/computer? Also sometimes some songs, especially on the insane/hard difficulties tend to get overmapped or experimented a bit with their own beats with the use of hitsounds or something that feels right overall, which is usually tricky but you can get hang of it after some rounds with them.

I appreciate you guys are trying to help but I have absolutely no clue as to what I'm supposed to do about this. As in, no idea how this universal offset thing works. Would you be as kind as to offer an explanation?

You tweak it and play maps until your taps/circle clicks seem to match with the music, if they don't then tweak it more. It's a bitch to get right. Start from around -50ms and work your way up in 3-4ms increments up to around 50ms. Play maps between each change.
The offset can be a lot, for example my UO is currently set to -54ms. Just gotta experiment with it.

Universal offset sets the general "delay" of the song file in maps, positive values are early while negative values are late. The right offset depends on the player's hearing, preference and computer so it's always different from one another. The universal offset map linked above can help if you really want an absolutely precise offset, though

this works as well too, but I recommend tweaking it on the offset wizard, just listen to the beat and see if it's precisely in rhythm with the ticks and highlights, you should hear the ticks being fainter if you got the right offset

It only makes a difference when the osu! sensitivity isn't 1.0x, which it should be in most cases. Peppy was right to make that change
Also I can only get around 210BPM :<
