Pft, no patches. Buggy as hell... I remember when that some fag used Resurrection... Althought I think it was Buddha... :bang:
Far Cry 2
Gothic 2
You like to explore, eh? Download Orbiter. http://orbit.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/
You like to explore, eh? Download Orbiter. http://orbit.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/
Hmm too bad the surface textures suck and it's as flat as a pancake, not to mention the lack of buildings and stuff. Might & Magic VI has plenty to explore.
Doom Quake Wolfenstein 3D Return to Castle Wolfenstien
Fuel, the racing sucks but the map is 5000 by 5000 FUCKING SQUARE KILOMETERS. There's an arctic section, a desert and more.

red faction guerrilla umm xplane? how about uh umm ArmA II? 250 square kilometers is pretty big [editline]02:03PM[/editline]
You like to explore, eh? Download Orbiter. http://orbit.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/
hell yeah
Where's the online part in hide and seek outside?
Massively multiplayer outside, maybe? Ultima 7 is an enormous game, with much to find.
Daggerfall
Playing it now, My God it took like 5-10 hours for me to get from the side of the map to the other
That's impossible, you would've had to've been going at 500 KM/H all the time, since the map is 5000 KM^2 I think a more reasonable number would be like 30 hours
Doom Quake Wolfenstein 3D Return to Castle Wolfenstien
Hahaha Is this guy serious?
It's not out yet, but Borderlands' Pandora is going to be a huge world with no loading screens at all.
Wurm online.
Fable isn't really open. There are allways door-like exists on every area.
Darkfall. But that sucks pretty much. :rolleye:
Frontier: Elite II. (A whole randomly generated galaxy apart from a few planets) Not multiplayer, but me and my brother were trying to misjump to the centre of the galaxy

Has no one said Just Cause?
Noctis
Daggerfall. It's the equivelent to going outside in New England, but with monsters. But seriously, the world is as big as New England.
Freelancer My god, that game had me hooked. After you beat it, install the Discovery Mod and play again.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any games with large, explorable open places. Games I've already played like these: - Oblivion - Shivering Isles - I actually thought Trackmania Sunrise was pretty cool when you build a city map, with a huge ramp, and fly off into the land. It never ended until you got to the skybox. - Flight Simulator was pretty cool I suppose. - Assassin's Creed - Fable - Guild Wars - World of Warcraft That's all I can think of for now. I think Oblivion was the best because I like Medieval things, and Oblivion was huge, and had those. EDIT: Ok, I remember now. - Fallout 3 (Which was really nice, I liked the Oblivion style gameplay.) - Crysis - Crysis: Warhead Do you guys know of any that are like this?
STALKER SoC. 'Nuff said. [editline]06:23PM[/editline]
Doesn't really work if you have no friends. Which is about 80% of this forum.
*sigh*
Try Hide and Seek outside, mate. [editline]02:40AM[/editline] It's MMO.
And no monthly fees bitches.
That's impossible, you would've had to've been going at 500 KM/H all the time, since the map is 5000 KM^2 I think a more reasonable number would be like 30 hours
It's 5000 km^2 of area. That means the distance from one side to the other is only about 70 km, assuming that the map is a square. If it was 5000 km x 5000 km the total area would be... 25,000,000 km^2.
Hmm too bad the surface textures suck and it's as flat as a pancake, not to mention the lack of buildings and stuff. Might & Magic VI has plenty to explore.
Yes because buildings matter when you're in outer fucking space
STALKER, any of them but SOC is the best IMO
This, I haven't played CS though but I plan on getting it to try it out.
Obviously the GTA-series. Exploring the different cities is great fun.
That's impossible, you would've had to've been going at 500 KM/H all the time, since the map is 5000 KM^2
Lol, learn what it means when an area is squared. Edit: Your argument is invalid.
