Enemies you can't see
Unintentional scares, like if the area is meant to be freaky and an NPC silently walks behind you and you turn and they are right there. Even if they aren't an enemy.
fucking this
I've yet to find a game that can scare me, The re-deads from OOT are so far the ones that has able to reach a "scare" level but all I need to do is button mash to escape from them
I'd always play the sun's song the moment I entered a room with them, and then proceed to jump slash them all one at a time so that none of them got a chance to fight back.

That is no doubt the freakiest yet somehow hilarious thing I have ever seen :ghost:
When you're stuck with no ammo to fight something an you're forced to run from it.
Things in games that look like they are suffering, and they REALLY don't want to suffer. Whether it was an enemy or a friend, doesn't matter.
Like the Wheezer in Dead Space. He looks quite sad having breathing problems:

Headcrab zombies in HL1 started this kind of pity/fear in me.
I never finished System Shock 2.
Am a pussy, I can't finish that, its too fucking creepy.
Like, those freaking wives or whatever their name is, the creepiest mob ever, hands down.

You won't like Postal then, injuring things results in them whimpering and acting like a injured scared dog..If i recall..I never did kill anything in that game...Im so kind.
Sudden change in scenery does it for me. I hated Oblivion because of the sudden red sky when you approached the gates. I also don't really like darkness in games, which is why I prefer a more cheery atmosphere in my games.

Haha, I've watched this countless times since it first came out, been following 4PP for along time.

I think I just shat a brick house.
Any enemy that I cannot fight back against, especially in games when I normally can. IE, the glowing antlion guard in Ep2.

The immortal in dead space, oh god.
In Fallout New Vegas, doing the Sierra Madre Missions:
When you hear that fucking beeping, with no readily apparent source. Goddamn, i've had to run through far too many areas just because i couldn't find where the radio/speaker was...
Also, playing Banjo-Kazooie as a youngin' has made me fucking TERRIFIED OF DROWING.

Fucking this. I'm sneaking around a house in Oblivion, stealing shit like the thief I am. I'm creepin around then suddenly STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM! and I nearly piss myself.
Fucking Resident Evil 2.
I swear, that is the scariest game in the series. Was kinda pissed when RE4 got some sort of award for being scariest GOTY. The only thing that I found scary was the regenerators.

This is probably the best example of these fuckers. Guy did some mild editing, makes it scarier.
The scene in Singularity where you're going down the hallway with a bunch of Reverts and if you make the slightest noise they'll all attack you. Scares the shit out of me.

What scares me? Some old games are just creepy, being alone with not other sign of life also scares me..
the chase scene in dead space 1 with that huge motherfucker. probably the only chase scene that had actually made my heart racing.

Arachnophobia too.
I forgot I posted this and jumped while scrolling down the page.
Even in games that aren't scary, when nobody is around and you look for somebody and nobody is there.
Gmod maps are the worst for that, you can clutter it with as much as your shit as you want, but somewhere that FUCKING headcrab you spawned 10 minutes ago is going to fuck your shit up when you're not looking.
I used to get scared in Star Wars Battlefront when I left the battlefield and it told me to return. I was always afraid something terrible would happen.
Vortigaunts at the top of ladders
Uboa.
I swear to god this is one of the scariest things that has happened for me: A friend of me told me to keep turn the lights on and off not telling me why. Jesus Christ that was scary.

Stuff happens around 3 minutes into the video.
