I got a copy of GTA:SA from my friend for giving him 500 Toricredits on Toribash.
Also, I won a copy of Gears of War for the PC from this contest on YouTube. You had to be the first to type out a certain sentence on this guys channel with the correct spelling and grammar and I won.
Recently went to gamestop and sold some old games I found for store credit. Rang up put it on a preorder of 3D dot game heroes and was about to head out when the machine started beeping curiously I asked what it was and apparently the machine fucked up or something (It's been unreliable in the past, for a whole month it changed everything in the system to spanish and no one could stop it). He told me to come back and when I did it had given me a extra 66 dollars for some weird reason, he tried to clear it but the manager came out, two talked about how it would be illegal for them to get rid of it but they didn't know what to do at the same time, 5 minutes later I leave the store with god of war 3, which I didn't expect to pick up.
Edit: Another one (kinda) was from Hollywood video, went in and rented a few games, they said I had outstanding charges despite me turning things in on time at all times so decided to hold off on paying them as they had a "Pay your fine whenever the hell you want" policy.
They went out of buisness thanks to blockbuster a few weeks later.
I bought tf2 at full prize for some poor guy in the Philippines.

Well, I blockbuster I normally went to to try games, closed down. I had MW2 and Bad company 2, so when they went out of business, I got to keep those 2 game
My friend's dad fixes tech stuff, and apparently, kids stick DS Games in their Wii's now. His dad gave them to my friend and we split it. There were about 6 games in there.

I bought Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg from Amazon for 92p with free postage. Considering you're only supposed to get free postage on items over £15 it probably cost them a fair bit more to process and post it than what I paid.

This actually happened to a friend of mine:
He was with some other friends in a game store and see Dead Rising. His friends told him to buy it but he wasn't so sure. Suddenly, some guy walks in the store and asks the staff if they've got Dead Rising. They try to cover it, and after the guy walks out of the store, he decides to buy it.
