Also, i was walking with a friend to my local mall to rent a game, this was at maybe 8 o'clock, then we found condemned in the gutter, disc and case, we ran home and we were pretty much eager and ready to play then it proceeded with the emptying of our bowels because it was freakin' scary!
There was a garage sale down my street that I went to randomy looking around. I saw a game called Starsiege with the Jewell Case, manual, and Compendium for like $10 or something. It turned out to be a FUCKING AWESOME Mech sim on PC made back in like '98. It's still one of my favorite games today.

Got $200 over what I should have when the money was returned, spent it all.
My friend gave me his "extra copy" of halo 2 for the xbox.
It was really a developer's DVD thing.

I got a gift card to circuit city (right before they bombed) and went with the intention of getting AoE III, found it for the normal 50$ but then I saw it the AoE III Special edition, hardback art book, strategies guide, soundtrack, and Developer diaries, all for just 10$ bucks at Circuit city right before they bombed. It was lying carelessly on the ground :( Also the artbook featured a preview of future AoE's to come showing a WW1 to Vietnam and futurist sequels. I found a battered sealed box in the middle of an oval, pried it open to reveal Half-Life, and Age of Mythology.
Also, had Audiosurf strangely appear in my steam games list, there was no transaction for it and it wasn't a gift.

I've always been told that but generally it works for me. I've brought back Crysis Warhead (which worked without the disc on my computer upon further inspection :v:).
The shops near me don't really ask, even major chains like JB, EB and the like. Shows some lack of care on their part but works for me.

wow well strangest way wuld be some random guy added me on steam and was like RAWR TAKE IT and gifted me left for dead 2 :3. ugh a not so strange way was i found a psp still in its box sitting on a park bench no one was around so i took it and opened it and it had a movie and a game in it.

I used to be a member of the forensics squad at the NYPD. I found a copy of Halo 3 in some fat guy's chest. I didn't mention it in the report, and the case probably failed, but hey, at least I get to play a classic Xbox 360 game which is a blast every time my mates come over.
i walked into the park with my girlfriend and she was saying how she loved Pokemon
so me and her sat down, and she had looked into the closet tree.
and she found a box in the tree, so i climbed up into it and dropped it to my girlfriend.
and she opened it, and it surprisingly contained,
Pokemon blue, Pokemon yellow, Pokemon red,
With a note saying: If you have found this box, then please call ***-***-**** Thanks.
So, we decide to call the number and then a person that sounds around 40-60 picked up and said "Hello?" we said we found a box with this number written and he said "Oh, someone has found it?. well it's my most favorite games. but i stopped playing video games when i turned 18, so i hid the box. it looks like after years, someone actually found it." we said can we keep them? and he said he said "Yeah go ahead, that's why i hid it"
So we went home and found on all of the games, all of the pokemon we're the highest level and all of the legendarys found and highest level,

P.S I'm not telling the number.
P.S.S After 8 days we sold them for 80$ each, and they sold out fast.

i got GTA4 from Pacman.
I got the PC versions of Tomb Raider 2 and 3 from Best Buy for only 99 cents each.
I got Microsoft Flight Simulator for my birthday. I played it, didn't like it, decided to take it back to Best Buy. They don't normally take back PC games, but the lady at the counter was nice and took it back and said that I could get another game for free.

I don't know if this is wired or not but i was getting a shit game by the postoffice and they gave me 2 packages 1 was half-life 2 and 1 was the shitty game.

I'm pretty sure that's illegal. You can't spend money you don't have, it's like a bank error saying you have 1 million more than you should have and you go and blow 100 grand on a Maserati.
Eventually the bank is going to notice and you're going to get sued like a motherfucker
