Also, I just played and got to that part as well.
[sp]I waited a few days so the other prisoners were either zombies or dead. I set him free and immediately ran for the exit. I almost raged when I got blocked by two zombies near the end but I was able to shoot one down with my shotgun and get away. Thankfully the national guard was in the police station so I simply lured the beast and its minions out from the dark depths and let them do their job. I plan on investigating the CHAR building he gives you coordinates to, very interesting so far.[/sp]
New update is very fun. I really need to get better at this game, I never make it very far. Thing is, I just don't like survivors, I like going solo more.

Did anyone else look in the [sp]trapped prisoner[/sp] inventory and saw it was full of rations and just close the cells on him?

Another CHAR storyline update: [sp]Holy shit, the underground facility is just a gauntlet of higher tier nasties. Zombie princes chasing you constantly with the occasional zombified CHAR guard, red eyed skeletons, and the zombies with capes. Seriously, don't go snooping around down there unless you are fully prepared. This place would make a perfect zombie apocalypse headquarters. It takes up the whole district map so I wasn't able to explore every nook and cranny before I had to bail for sleep.[/sp] I went to sleep in the back of a CHAR base which is a bad idea. It's very hard to escape once a zombie master and his posse track you down.

I hate people like you who, instead of reading the manual, go into a thread and ask how to play. It's all described in the manual, and moving is the most basic thing you can do in this game.

Ugh, I'll continue with this for now. Day 14, most of them in this CHAR room.
Also during today, I tried to visit the store in this district, and the game knew how to cheer me up. It surrounded me with skeletons. Which then all failed to hit me even once as I beat them all to (re?)death.
Skeletons cant hit me, and when they do it has no effect. Even zombie lord rarely hit me.
I think I've found a bug, I loaded my save game and I couldn't move around at all. All the other keys work fine, I just cant move my character around.
Other than that I have two followers and a big gun, that smell remover spray is a life saver.
Edit: I also tried starting a new game, still can't move around though am able to still yell constantly.
Double edit: Fixed it, and yes I'm an idiot (who ever uses the num lock button anyway).
Regarding the "pink fuzzy bunnies" as the developer refers to them as...

The only thing that it really needs is the ability to kill survivors. I'm fucking raging at how they manage to get through my maze of barriers and to my stockpile. raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaage.
Step one/two pile everything into 1-3 stacks. step two/one build a wall of shelves to guard your 1-3 stockpile.( i said 1/2 because as you are dropping shit they can take it :c

New game, I'm in a gun store, I barricaded the two fuckers that slipped in(cage constructed of fine quality shelves) and recruited one. Using the basement as a stockpile. No damn food anywhere.
Then as I open the door a zombie comes in. Unkillable. It's really enraging.
10 crossbow shots from me, and probably the same from my follower. No health bar came up at all for him he just kept charging me.
I hate the crossbow. It never hits and I don't want to waste precious skills on Bows.
I prefer the good ol' bat and a nice, sturdy shotgun.
i went to sleep after building 4 big barracades then went to sleep to wake it to see all 4 of them still standing and my death reason was : Police Officer blah blah

This game is cool, but I never get any cool deaths, it always ends up with me getting gang banged by zombie masters after hiding in a grocery store for 10 days.
I think you need to die of starvation a lot less. Can'y people last for like a few weeks without food? In this game 2 days and you're done.
Also, along with killing people, you should be able to cannabalize them too.

That's because there is no such thing as a cool death. You just peter out and starve, or yeah that. Or get lucky and live for a ridiculously long period of time, to the point where nothing could ever have a chance of killing you, and then are left to think about how much time you've spent playing the game.

But.. i was in the lobby and it was day 14 i was fucking in there 10 times and fucking helped killed the thing even though i kind of set it free...

Also unrelatedly i have had EVERYTHING happen to me on multiple playthroughs execpt ganstas.
Anyone else notice that buildings on the corner of maps are less likely to be attacked? Useful car barricades and all that.
