I wish it didn't make you restart after every game.
I LOVE Roguelikes, trying now.
Can you reload guns?
I don't understand why people make games with unnecessarily difficult UIs. I should not have to spend 10mins reading on how to barricade a wall or something like that. I like the game, but the time I've spent learning how to do something simple, or figuring out what my stats even mean make the game a lot less enjoyable.
I thought it was fun. A bit of rummaging and ctrl+f'ing about in the manual and I got the hang of things pretty easily. The zombies swarmed in my house, the bastards.
Dead Rising.
You recruit by pressing T then the direction of the person I think. I've barricaded a whole residential block and have two survivors in there with me, fun stuff. Use the P command to push/pull big things like fridges/wardrobes in front of the doors, the zombies won't try to break through the doors if you've got things in the way it seems.
It's easy to barricade a nice room for yourself but the dude gets hungry eventually so grr
What purpose does a shovel serve?
This is pretty fun for a simple game, first time I died by being gang-fucked by a horde of zombies :saddowns:
I've leveled up 14 times now. Proving very difficult to find any challenge  And in my house I horded about a dozen guns and groceries. Do I win?
Beat mine Robbo, I put myself into a store that has replenishing groceries and spawning guns, I have 3 rifles, 1 shotgun, 2 pistols and ininite Groceries at my disposal, My day is 14 also :v:
I actually survived a night. I found a baseball bat and a hunting rifle. Then zombies came in. I died.

Awesome! I just traded my shotgun (2/3) with some random lady's shotgun (3/3). :haw:
Barricade material makes a great currency. Easy to get, you can hold a good amount, and people typically will trade for it.\ Also, starting a project to fix these horrid graphics seems like a great idea.
Is there a way to kill other civilians? See a medkit, another survivors sees it too. He gets there first. Can't take revenge.:saddowns:
Does a cell phone do anything? I traded one to some poor sap for a baseball bat
Does a cell phone do anything? I traded one to some poor sap for a baseball bat
Give them to your party members and you can see where they are at on the map.
How do you destroy furniture? Barricade things? Move furniture?
To destroy furniture you press K and point to it while you have a melee weapon equipped. B is barricade I think. All these things are explained in the Game Manual so you might want to actually read it.
Had several groceries, a pistol, and a bunch of planks and I went into some reddish-black building and was killed by some sort of guard...
Had several groceries, a pistol, and a bunch of planks and I went into some reddish-black building and was killed by some sort of guard...
Yeah. The red building belong to some evil corp (Sort of like RE Umbrella Corp). Watch out for them unless you have good guns, stats, armor, party, etc. Moving things like furniture it "P". All of this is in the manual.
A online version would be kick-ass.
A online version would be kick-ass.
This.
A online version would be kick-ass.
It'd be full of griefers.
Imagine this as an FP game made on like the Cry Engine 3.
I love how the setup file takes 666 Kilobytes.
This is damn fun when you don't hole up. Also, fuck zombie masters in spawn room.
Doesn't work for me, when I start it and click new game, and create a character is makes an error and shows a white screen with red lines.
