Unreal Tournament works.
Starcraft, Age of Empires [editline]08:48PM[/editline]
Cortex Command
Unless his school gets a shit ton of money dumped on it every year, their computers won't run it well at all. That, and he'd have to de-activate his key at home and re-activate at school, which I wouldn't wanna do. Also Worms.
Emulators with some old games, Tropico is a good choice too.
Doom II.
duke nukem 3d
Oh yeah, unreal tournament 1999 GOTY would run.
System Shock Portable: http://www.strangebedfellows.de/index.php/topic,211.0.html Despite the name, it is not a watered down version of System Shock or anything like that. It's the original System Shock packaged with everything it needs to run on a modern system and fit on a USB drive.

Fallout 2. Smallest installation (which includes full game, mind you, just uses more resources which is absolutely no problems on any semi-modern computer.) is 1.1 MB. That's right, fallout 2 in 1.1mb.

Just get a 16GB flashdrive. I got one for $40 on sale. It works great and your options are pretty limitless.
I was only speaking the truth :(
Aaaaaaaaaaa. http://www.nintendo.com/corp/legal.jsp#download_rom
You want to put a game on your universal serial bus? Well that will be hard since the universial serial bus can be a webcamera, a printer, a scanner, a card reader, a humping dog made out of plastic, a cupwarmer, a cupchiller, a foam rocket launcher, a storage device, a table fan and a lot more.
dont we all like the smartarse.... but i say you buy a foam rocket launcher and a webcam and build a rocket launcher with a sight and piss off others!
All of Interovision's games will fit on a 1GB flash drive, Darwinia, Uplink and Defcon, and they're all great.
Halo 1
