Aaaaaaaaaaa. http://www.nintendo.com/corp/legal.jsp#download_rom
They're fucking dumb.
The backup/archival copy exception is a very narrow limitation relating to a copy being made by the rightful owner of an authentic game

Are Game Copying Devices Illegal? Yes. Game copiers enable users to illegally copy video game software onto floppy disks, writeable compact disks or the hard drive of a personal computer.
So they say we can make copies of our games but we aren't allowed to use copying devices of any kind?
I'll keep updating the above list, I know I'm forgetting some great ones.
Nexuiz is shit fun, the guy who posted the link above, I suggest you download it. NOW.
I knew I'd forget something great, Tribes 2 is now where it belongs.
N, way of the ninja.
Quake 2+3, Half-Life, UT1+'04, AoE2 and Star Wars GB were some of the ones we played in my time. That is, now. Until they started filtering .exe's on external disks and restricted the LAN. We're working on it.
