WoW didn't patent Point and click gameplay.
I know, but we need something new for fucks sake, I'm getting sick of the same gameplay being used over and over, think up something new for once god damn.
It would be interesting if they used Fallen Earth's style of fighting. At least then you have SOME form of control over how you fight.
I just realized something.
The Republic isn't very stable. They have fallen, what? 4 times? 5? more?
Lets see:
1. The original sith almost destroy the Republic and the Jedi.
2. The mandolorians severely weaken The Republic
3. The Sith Empire almost destroys the Republic
4. Republic is near destruction after the Jedi Civil War.
5. The events in the cinematic
6. The star wars movies.
7. The Yyuzan vong invasion of the galaxy.
The combat has pretty much turned me off from this game as my next big time sinker. The voice acting and story telling looks pretty good, but I agree with the one poster, I'm tired of click and forget MMO's. I love it in KOTOR, but not in an MMO. Oh well, I'm sure the game will do really well, which I hope it does. But for myself, that kind of combat was old to me 4 years ago.
Aw.. I was expecting a whole new cool combat system and shit. The UI and combat seem to have me disappointed :( But I'll take what I can get.
To be brutally honest.
All I want is the old SWG back and I'd take that over TOR any day.
It would never happen now because WoW fucked over all the MMO developers that have money to make a game like that. Everything has to be dumbed down now like WoW (at least, that's the mind-set, anyone doing something new are the small man teams that lack funding to really make the game how they want), where-as SWG required ridiculous amounts of time and knowledge of the system to be very good at it.
I used to do that with a few of my friends, we'd get together and "fight club" all night logging numbers and crunching them. It really was a waste of time, as we already knew what was best, but we waned to completely min/max ourselves out, like 0.56 more points of damage at 0.75 seconds compared to 0.54 damage at 0.73 seconds actually mattered. But after 5+ years of playing the game we had nothing else to do lol. Was more rewarding in the old days than now though, as it's pretty well known what's the best nowadays in it.

I demand ship customization ! :v:

That'd be awesome.

Whenever you look, the Republic is either getting their asses handed to them or complaining about the sith. In the first two KotOR games, you basically have to win a war for them.

I would have prefered that they just made KotOR 3 instead of making this MMO.
Sith warrior class has been announced.

This game looks fun. I can't wait for it to come out! just hope that its not gonna cost too much.
This game looks so childish and unrealistic to Star Wars. Not gonna get it. Would rather play APB with some 13 year old bullet sponges.
Republic Trooper over here, yo.
Well, here's hoping this game will be decent when it finally comes out.

I'm sorry but since when was Star wars ever realistic?..
For all the Pre-CU nostalgiafags such as myself, just wait until Suncrusher launches later this year (SWGEmu)
I was really not hyped for this game (even though my brother won't shut up about it) until a few weeks ago when I played and finished The Force Unleashed on Sith Master and realized the Star Wars universe is pretty awesome. While saber-using classes will be over populated, and maybe even over-powered for a while, I plan to play one. Let's face it, they're going to be the more interesting and fun choices for many people.
When I first saw the cinematic trailer, I knew it was blatant bullshit compared to how the actual game would play. Anyway, awaiting more info and hoping it's going to be good.
