Oh wow. Fuck that shit.
Bohrok and rashaki(sp?) were "piloted" by organic parasites.
Bohrok and rashaki(sp?) were "piloted" by organic parasites.
The Rakshi did have the Kraata, i give you that. But they're synthetic beings ripped out of the Makuta himself which was a machine as well. I have no idea where the Krana came from, probably from Makuta as well.

Or at least it wasn't metal-- it was a corrosive goop.

Makuta was a black slab of rock before the Bohrok, didn't you see the legend of Mata-Nui on the cliffs where the telescope was?
I feel old for remembering playing this. Wow.
Tentacles.
Tentacles don't mean it's organic. Doc Ock from Spiderman for example. It could just be flexible metal, it was so dark you wouldn't see.
I built my Takua figure a backpack because I was inspired by this game.
I'm amazed this thread lasted as long as it did.
Sorry for the thread necro, but this is probably the best place to ask this. Does anyone know where I could find and play the other old Lego games, like the Roboriders one, or the Throwbots (a.k.a. Slizers) one?
Do people play this online? still?
I learned to read by playing this game. :3: I felt so accomplished when I finished it.
Lego.com was the best thing about the internet when I was little. Lego Backlot, BMNOG I & II, Stormrunner, and a bunch of other ones I barely remember.
This was the best fucking thing about Bionicle. I remember trying to play this on dial-up. Waiting 15 mins to get to the next scene was totally worth it.
I remember raging at backlot when I had to do the studio with the barrels because I hated the jumping system.
So many tears. I loved this game, loved the series, then come 2009, it failed.
Thread is awakened from the dead via necromancy. Perfect. I also have to agree, it kind of died during the Piraka already.
Oh god, I remember this! It was such an awesome game. I also remember the Lego.com site, with all those other games. Good memories man.
Christ I remember this. Wow.
We totally need a more serious fallout-like RPG of this. Now. [editline]24th March 2011[/editline] Pohatu will always be my favorite.
Hoyl shit that is awesome.

There's Tahu's left hand on his thigh, on the outer side there is Nuva armor and i think i see some Vahkii stuff there too.

On topic, I loved this game. It captured my imagination twenty times over, and I nostalgia'd all over the fucking place when I looked at the screencaps.
Reading this thread brought back so much nostalgia. I spent so many hours on the Lego website playing probably every single game they had on there. So much goodness
I played this game so much when I was younger... But I remember another Bionicle game that was point and click but from a overhead view. You played a Matoran (the little guys) and I think you we're one of the blue guys. I remember it started out and you woke up in your hut or something. Any one else remember this?
