Also what race and class should I choose? I was a rouge last time and didn't much care for it. I much rather help others get kills than do it myself. Would a priest or cleric or whatever be good for that?

If you mean healers you can go Paladin.
Even though Priest, Shaman and druids also have trees for healing, they are nowhere as good as paladins.

So today rolled 100 on Frost Needle (Holy Pally), upgrade from Seethe, but was given to a Warlock instead because of hit rating.

I leveled as Ret and had literally no down time. Went through mobs in 3-4 seconds and could take on multiple mobs at once.
I did a VoA today and got a piece of tier 10. There's 95 frosts I don't have to get.

A while ago, people would buy it for quite a bit, [i]especially[/i] Horde-side. A lot of people didn't know how to get it, and the rest had better things to do than camp out the spawn point.
Not sure what the market is on them these days.
