the new rune system is weird, they say about runes sitting idle, but on my DK in tanking or DPS I never have a rune sitting idle, or maybe I've completely read it wrong

by that logic flying mounts can also function as 100% mounts when on the ground, and that its worth paying for that to be included as an extra function.
i define extra functions as something like the tundra mammoths vendors, or the bike's extra slot, something along those lines that has an extra function aside from just being a reskin of something and sped up to what ever percent...
don't get me wrong i can afford it, and it is a nice looking mount but i really don't see the point shelling out real money for another mount which is nothing special aside from a reskin..
For people who are in the early levels of 60-70 it's nice to know there's a mount that can be used in Azeroth, in Outland, and as soon they get cold weather flying in Northrend too. There are no other flying mounts that can be used in the currently "no fly" areas as far as I know.
Well there's that stick, but that's just during that event.
in all fairness after some money sink you'll be able to fly in azeroth when cataclysm comes anyway so its not that much of an issue
