Easy for you most parties are incompetent for me as the healer shits himself and run leaving me to die as I struggle to keep everything off him if he slightly gets tapped and he proceeds to blame me and I get kicked

this happens to me sometimes, usually we get a good healer tho, the tank usually fucks us over.

is bad at tanking.
but there are plent of good tanks, just luck of the draw i guess

For most parties it appears that tank = easy scapegoat so I normally do what any tank paladin can do I.E bum rush in spam shield based abilities and cross fingers for the best but when tits go up normally because the aforementioned healer shitting happens immediately I have to take the blame for the healers incompetence
You'd swear by level 40 people would somewhat understand the basic principle of it's not always the tank's fault and that healers are not supposed to shit themselves and immediately abandon all hope if the tank can't keep everything off him 24/7 but they still worship healers like they're gods and despise tanks as if they're the devil
i find that tanks arn't even needed most of the time at low levels, small pulls with everybody dpsing as long as the healer is a complete face roller and the instances go fine..
you're right though tanks are the first to get the blame irregardless of if it's their fault or not

This is true, I got blamed so much when I tanked, despite being the most experienced. Now though, I have the lazy job of dpsing, so I don't get any blame haha.
Although, when I am on my healing alt, I find low level instances annoying, especially with new players, when they don't understand the concept of the group, and try to tank, even though they are a Rogue for example.
I still have 1 of my RAF mounts left. :)

Today was a big day for me in the world of warcraft
I've finally got a character past the 40's, and I'm still not bored of it!
Usually I'd get to 30-40, get bored, start a new one, etc.
I've got a 42 troll mage, 41 dranei huntard, 40 tauren shaman, 39 tauren druid, dranei shaman i think, not too sure on the others.
Current is a tauren warrior by the way.

Warriors are a lot of fun. Especially now that you've unlocked plate armor, you'll probably have more of an incentive to play. The epic mount at 40 deal also keeps the game rolling well.
The 50s are sort of... eh, though.
60's when you get to outland is when the real fun starts

Power Word: Barrier looks good, and Life Grip would work really well with a hunter's disengage.
I have a feeling the priests Life Grip will be abused. Not in cheating abused but as in annoying people abused
