DBM is pretty useless, because you should already know the tactics, but if you don't then you learn them through experience anyway.

I use DBM too, I actually don't know why though. I downloaded it back when I started raiding, but I've never really needed it.
I know tacts, but I find it helps for stacks on tanks, when to taunt, when to prepare for abilities etc
I find DBM very useful as my attention span is really short when it comes to raiding. Mostly for the special reminders, like Tear Gas at Putricide (I play Rogue, it does matter there), or Unstable Ooze Explosion at Rotface.
