Ok, now I haven't got a clue what I'm buying. I have a choice between the Windrunners and the Ahn'Akar or something. Which one should I get? I'm guessing Ahn'Akar because that costs Frost emblems which you get by doing Heroics.. Which I guess would be harder.

Windrunner = T9, Ahn'Kahar = T10.
Betsy is being kidnapped and all you're doing is talking in guild chat?!
I like you.
I'll RAF someone US PM me if you want to.

You get two frost emblems from the first daily HC you do per day.
And you get two from Toravon on 10 and 25 man and from any boss in ICC.

Don't forget the weekly raid.
Oh yeah, that too.
Recently took up PvP on my Priest. Close to complete Relentless / Wrathful.
God do I hate Alliance.
No Teamwork, No Reporting, Going AFK because they lose the attack/defense on Strand of the Ancients.
Most annoying thing.
No buffs at the start. Am I just so fucking unlucky or does this happen to anyone else?
Ok, so I'm just grinding heroics now through the dungeon finder, and I forgot what T9 I was supposed to get. And the parts that aren't T9, what should I try to go for?
T9 Legs and Glove.
Get the 245 non set helm and shoulder.
Get the ToC 245 craft chest.
Uh oh, Catachecker going off!

And this means...?
in a nutshell:

I've now got 23 Emblems of Triumph, I didn't think it would be this easy to get them. I'll possibly have about 2 peices of T9 by the end of the weekend.
[editline]10:05PM[/editline]
What the Beta has started? Or just more rumours?
And this means...?
Exactly what it says on the tin, I'm amazed you even have to ask.

it means they patched battle.net and added cata beta as an official game
which pretty much means beta within a week
most likely today
Hell yeah, so is it going to be a closed beta? If it isn't the normal server population will drop to about... 9.
There is no closed or open in Blizz terms, you opt-in and have a chance to get in. This is mostly based on your computer specs.
I'm not even bothered about seeing the revamped quests or anything right now, I just want to see the revamped zones. Especially Stormwind, seriously.
Like the Starcraft 2 beta. Well I didn't get in that with my Core 2 Duo and HD 4550, so no Cata for me untill release.
[editline]10:11PM[/editline]
The thing I'm looking forward to the most is flying mounts in Azeroth.

SCII and Cata are different engines. And since Blizzard tests several computer spec ranges, I'm sure they'll also check the crappiest ones in the list. :v:
I bet the training to fly in Azeroth will cost a hole lot!
[editline]09:16PM[/editline]
:frown:
If it does cost a lot, I'll cry because all I have is 380g :saddowns:
You haven't even experienced most of the game as it is, Neo. You don't need to be in the beta.
"Old Weather Flying - Your mounts have become dependent on heavy weather circumstances. You will now have to teach them to fly in low wind conditions. (Or big swirling tornadoes)."
Heh, that's probably exactly what will happen. Tbh we should just be able to fly from the get go.

I said I hadn't played 60 through 80 (or something) on retail, but I have on a 8x rates server. So I kind of have experienced most of the game.
Will you be able to fly in cities?
I don't remember reading it anywhere.
I don't want people to be standing on top of vendors and shit.

60-80 + private servers is not most of the game.

It'll most likely work like Dalaran does for all major cities. Smaller towns will probably have flying mount access, like they do now.

No it doesn't count because it was private server.
I thought that was obvious.
