I bet they will keep going untill they they cannot breakeven
considering warcraft 3 is still popular and thats been around for what, 7 years is it now? i doubt WoW will die off for 15+ years unless they majorly fuck something up
Seeing as it that Blizzard cares for the community, If they fuck something up they're bound to patch/remove it.
half life 1 November 19, 199: still running, game defined first person shooters wow November 23, 2004 : still running game defined how an mmo should feel, i cant see an end to it
As good as WoW is and how regularly updated it is, I can't see it lasting above 5 years, but I guess I could be wrong since it's been going for 5 and some now.
Yeah level 100. Anyone have that picture from 2004 of the green/blue post on the Blizzard forums? The one that shows the roadmap for expansions?

Do you need to be a raid group to survive in these zones? It is also very interesting how Plane Set is hitting the cap of level 100, while Legion Set seems to include the level cap of 100 too, yet more difficult, being 100+ etc. :iiam:

That panda race I want it.
its p. fuckin crazy that blizz leaked that so early
I'd like to know if Blizzard has leaked anything on classes they have been planning on.
I'd like to know if Blizzard has leaked anything on classes they have been planning on.
Probably but there is no way to proove it so unless you have anyway to proove that bizzard has leaked that's gonna be hard.

I give it about 5 years, give or take a year. The game has it's ups and downs, but it can't reign supreme forever. Sooner or later a new MMO will be released that will finally trump this game, even if it happens to be another Blizzard MMO.
It'll definitely be a long time until it dies. I'm think at least 10 years, if not more.
Blizzard are developing a new MMO, which I think will come out around the time WoW reaches the level 100 cap, so say? 4-5 years maybe. But people will still play, just the majority of players will move on.
I'm Guessing at least 5-6 more years, mabye more.

A good idea would be when Blizzard stops supporting it, they make some sort of developer & hosting kit so the private servers can continue. [editline]08:56PM[/editline] legally
Said list is really unreliable now.
how is it?
Until level 100. [editline]08:24PM[/editline] Then they stop supporting the game.
I would say that they will stop the expansions at Level 100, Let it die out, Start merging servers, in till there only four servers, One Normal, One PVP one RP and one RP-PVP server
Said list is really unreliable now.
How so? [editline]07:43AM[/editline]
Until level 100. [editline]08:24PM[/editline] Then they stop supporting the game.
You sound really secure on this, any source?
