Which subforums should replace ArmA, Sims 3 and should GTA4 stay? - Games

A Counter strike source sub forum?

How about if we have a unified Console Section, where there are three post icons - Sony, Wii, Xbox? And for PC we get a Subforum where all the major games' Megathreads are. And that way we can keep only a: [list] [*]Consoles [*]Megathreads and Major Threads [*]Games in Progress All general games [/list]

I dont think a different sub-forum for each genre is a good idea. That ruins the purpose of the main Video Games section.

Forums shouldn't be for a just "one game" but should total up either a genre, series or type of video game. e.g. "Valve Games", "FPS" or "Shoot'EmUp'"

Maybe a subforum for "Megathreads", where each game not big enough to get it's own subforum could have a megathread, leaving the "General Games Discussion" for discussing about games in general, and not specific games.

Get rid of them all and make genre based subforums. Or just get rid of them all, never really knew why they existed, the clutter wasn't that bad and most people understood that stuff about whatever game they were playing went in the thread for that game.

Consols (xbox,ps3(classic sub fourm) etc) General (same things as now (can releate to other sub fourms)) GTA series (No subs in there but say the game your talking aobut in thread title) Cod series(same as gta) INDI games (self explanitory) my sugestions

It's probably best to have Team Fortress 2 subforum. Unless if you people like 300 threads about how the newest update sucks around here.

Maybe a "coming soon" games subforum? For games that aren't out yet? Nah. Probably useless. I'd say a "free games" section, but that'd be full of shit. Well, to be honest, other than those ideas, I don't see much more room for sub-forums. I say just remove them, but I never browse them or play the aforementioned games so I'm not really a good vote on that count.

Keep GTA, replace Sims with Indie Games.

How about in the Video Game Forum we use only Megathreads and then make a section for "help and tips"? That way it's neater. Also where is the movie forum?

And as many have said, an "Indie Games" sub-forum would be nice. [editline]02:50PM[/editline] And as some have said, the only single games that need a sub-forum are big MMOs (WoW) and heavily moddable and populated games. All the others don't really need a sub-forum and can stick to their megathread in the General Videogame Discussion (lets call it GVD). So excpet for some really big games there shouldn't be sub-forums for a single game. But a sub forum for certain niche genres (simulators, indies and all that) are needed. So in my opinion there shouldn't be any RFG (or any other game) sub-forum, instead make a sub-forum for Indie games and one for simulators (ArmA, OFP, IL-2 and so on). MMO, 360, Sony, Nintendo and Valve games should all stay.

I say just make a link to the video games custom forum and move all the game subforums there

Reading this thread i would prefer Developer/Publisher subforums or genre subforum And ofc an Indie would be awesome AND just make GTA IV to GTA and it'll probably be more populated.

ArmA should stay since there is an expansion pack coming out for it soon.
