bought it the other day, at the midnight launch and I found it AMAZING.
I went into it thinking; Halo 3 really let me down, I hope this one doesn't too.
And it didn't. It pretty much fixed every problem I had with H3.
Awesome. I'm really looking forward to playing it online. Campaign too, though.
I'm liking ODST a lot more than Halo 3 so far.
It's been really fun. It feels better to be in "an elite soldier's" role instead of "THE LAST HOPE OF HUMANITY OMG LAST SPARTAN." Everytime I died in Halo 3 I thought, "Master Chief wouldn't die this much."
Little, but it bothered me.
The whole game is just more appealing so far.

Haha, I know. I didn't read any of them or get into the Halo storyline very much.
I didn't understand any of it, even though I started from the beginning of the first game and watched every cutscene as I played.
I saw something about Chief in stasis, then on Halo.. something about prophets.. blew up a Halo.. and then I got lost.
It's got a GREAT storyline for each game and book. The only one I didn't like was The Flood, but only because it was basically the first game except the with a bunch of cool shit I never got to see/play :C

I really am loving how much of the first halo has seeped through into this.
This game is so awesome.
I really like the difficulty difference between the modes. In easy you are pretty much unstoppable, it is the best exploration difficulty. In Normal, you better not get hit by anything or your going to be in a world of hurt.
haven't tried heroic or legendary yet.
Watching my friend play it. Looks awesome.
This game is good. It's just different than the other games. I think it's more atmospheric.
I think the animations are more funny.
Yeah it's mega tough. I'm playing on Heroic.
