Great news everybody, turns out that version 1.5.0.8 is going to get released sometime in Summer. (an update after 4 years! woo!)
Info that I've gathered so far:

- will have greatly optimized networking
- will be much more stable
- will be greatly optimized overall
[b]- will be open-source[/b]
The dev has said that it will not be released until 10th of June.

holy shit, I still have this mod from years ago...I thought it was dead for sure.

Nah, the dev said that he simply didn't have the time to work on it. (plus the other 2 people who worked on it stopped working on it)

The new version is even more unstable than the previous.
It took me about 20 seconds to crash in multiplayer. :|
