Yes in fact I even agreed with one of your arguments (even though you sounded high) but you were arguing about why Halo 2 and 3 were worse than 1 [i]not[/i] why you thought this video sucked. The argument you brought up had nothing to do with the video, and therefore it seemed like you were trying to start yet another Halo flame war. If not then I'm sorry for misunderstanding you.

Yes but the ODSTs are [I]attacking[/I] the covenant already there on a place that doesn't look really much like Earth at all. Coupled with the fact the fight against the brute takes place several years or a decade ago (he's older, durp), it isn't Earth.
Frankly, I don't think the trailer has anything to do with the game. No story resemblance. It's just there to look awesome and get people interested in the game.

It could be a battle on one of the dozen colony worlds that were destroyed post Harvest. Since the video
doesn't give a date we have no way of knowing when or where it takes place.
Unfortunately one of the big problems with the Halo time line is that Brutes should have been present in all the conflicts but they hadn't been created yet by Bungie, after they were created they were then written into "Contact Harvest" (a Halo prequel) which then begs the question where were they in "Fall of Reach" "First Strike" or Halo: CE? Bungie pulled a Skynet on us, which is unfortunate since the Brutes are retarded Planet of the Apes rejects. All hail the Sangheili!
