Am I the only one that loves the music in it? Does anyone know what the song is? I really want it.
I'll switch out the OP video for the longer one once I find a streamable copy...
360 sucks :v: (User was banned for this post ("why reply" - Spork-Juct))
Im sorry but if they can make this surely they can make a awesome movie.
360 sucks :v:
Hardware wise, it is a piece of shit, mine just red ringed on me last week, had to send it in to Microsoft.

I just wish that the actual gameplay looked even slightly like that. That frantic. The only game I've seen pull off that sort of stuff/even near to it, was Crysis in the chapter where the US Marines come in force.
[editline]11:17AM[/editline] Don't fuck with the power rangers! He has a shark, a cannon, and is covered in cars shaped like animals. Tell me how that is not pure win?
Looks more like an eccentric gay robot with random bits of plastic and cardboard shit stapled to it, and two twin pronged dildo hands. I'm getting a little worried about Halo 3 ODST too, I will definitely buy it, because I really like Halo but there were a few things that were bugging me: 1: In one of the firefight gameplay movies an ODST rips a gun from its mounting, and carries it around. What the fuck, I thought the reason the MC could pick it up an use it as a rifle because his suit and physical strength allowed him to, so why the hell can an ODST do the same? I'm not talking about the LMGs in Halo 2, I'm talking about the bug turrets like the ones on the back of the warthogs. 2: Melee combat. I don't understand how this would work. Sure, a normal human could probably overpower a jackal or grunt, but a Brute? No. It would be like an Imperial Guardsmen trying to fight an ork warboss using only his fists. 3: The pace of combat. I found the pace in the Halo series to be slower than in most games- a good thing, it allowed you to move more easily with your team and more easily plan your movements on the fly. Also from a story perspective it made sense. There really wasn't a whole lot- aside from hunters, vehicles, or swarms of enemies that would require the chief to leg it, both due to his combat experience and his armor. However now that you're playing as a ODST this is very different. You have no shields so that means your armor would stop MAYBE one plasma bolt before it burned through and vaporized your insides. Same goes for spike weaponry, that shit will punch right through your armor and either pinned you to a wall, or squaling in agony. All in all I hope the game will better reflect this change, make players actually fear incoming fire, or at least die after 1-2 hits to the helmet.

The only console I have ever owned that never broke was my trusty N64 I swear that thing could take a bullet and keep chugging happily along... Don't make um like they used to I suppose. :sigh: [editline]02:46PM[/editline]
Looks more like an eccentric gay robot with random bits of plastic and cardboard shit stapled to it, and two twin pronged dildo hands. Even the chief looked like he was struggling and walking slowly with the turret. It also begs the question will ODSTs be capable of flipping vehicles? And if so why? This also brings to question why ODSTs can easily lift and use a Brute hammer, but can't figure out how to dual wield, or use a plasma sword? Lol I like the image of the guardsmen vs a warboss, *splat* As for their stamina/health they went back to this system because they said they wanted to revisit the idea of non regenerating health which I like better since it gives the game a more frantic feel (no more hiding to get all your health back, now you have to find a med kit). I think the simple answer to most of these questions is the idea of what I call realism vs fun and in this case I think Bungie choose balance and fun over realism, and it's safe to say that they've done a pretty decent job so far.
Why russian?
Maybe that's the future its going to be.
Maybe that's the future its going to be.
If global warming goes into full swing Russia's cold climate will become much more favorable and Russia being the largest landmass on earth would now be the world's breadbasket. So it's entirely possible that the super powers will swing to being Alaska, China, and Russia in the next 50 years.
I remember seeing this at a friends house. Fucking unbelievable.

Africa's already hot as all unholy fucking hell. Factor in the hundreds of years of global warming between now and Halo's time period (let alone 50) it's just going to get worse. Polar Extremes will be the new tropicals. Russia, Greenland, Iceland, Canada, Northern Europe, Far South America, Australia, etc.
Impressive. Thought this would be a gay little trailer for H3 ODST

I said China though because its climate is relatively temperate and some parts are very cold, so I don't think global warming will affect them as much as say South America. On top of that even if they become a hot industrial wasteland they will still be one giant factory continent pushing out the crap we have to buy everyday, making them very powerful and wealthy.
Goddman hurry up with the Halo movie
Just watched it today. I haven't played any Halo games yet but this live action trailer is pretty kick ass.
The language is actually Romanian.

Wasn't the Mjolnir armor developed/tested in Songnam-Korea? I don't know where Songnam is, but just saying, it seemed like it was near one of the more tropical Asian countries that would have been underwater if Global warming had that much of an impact. It also seems like Africa as a continent is doing really well- New Mombasa had one of the first space tethers, didn't they?
okay guys, as a hungarian, living beside romania. let me explain. the language of the ODST is hungarian. the music is romanian.

As for where they were tested I'll do some digging and get back to you on that. Found it! According to the Fall of Reach book, Dr. Halsey envisioned the modernized Mjolnir armor that didn't need an auxiliary power supply to function. Both this armor and the original prototype (required an exterior Fusion reactor lol) were created at the Reach military complex on the colony planet Reach. This is fun ask me more!
Also, a making of video about the commercial. http://www.gametrailers.com/episode/gametrailers-tv/69?starttime=764

For some reason i keep getting the impression that they also developed it there too. Anyways the point I'm trying to make is that global warming either a) was not as bad in the halo universe or b) it didn't happen. A few more questions about Reach and the new mjolnr armor (been a while since I read the books) 1) Reach was the central training hub for all Spartans, excluding the SIIIs correct? 2) Spartan ones were considered to be the ODSTs, or were the ODSTs just a branch in and of themselves? 3) Also this is for clarification, but was the exoskeleton armor that John 117 went up against in a training exercise (the really big bulky ones that had twin mounted machine guns that fired dummy rounds) a prototype of S1 armor, or was it the S1 armor itself?
Those captions OP put at the bottom of the pictures are horribly cliché please remove them. ODST looks to be a better Halo.
