You can use both, but mouse is definitely recommended. It also has local co-op (if you can even call it that).

I prefer the mouse because it "flows" easier, I only use the keyboard in that double mode

If you want to move from lane 1 to lane 3, you have to hit an arrow key twice, but if you use the number keys 1, 2, and 3, you just have to hit 1 or 3.

I like playing with a xbox controller. It's not as fast or precise as using the mouse (or the keyboard) but it's damn fun, AND you can control both ships at the same time while playing double vision. That's how pros play.

Sure you could do a mouse one-handed, but you constantly run the risk of accidentally hitting a block you didn't want, or missing a block you wanted because you were too far to one side of the lane border. The arrow keys just aren't even slightly redeemable at all, but number keys are precise

Play with Mouse. Easy to use MB1, MB2, and for bonus MMB. Plus steering is great.

Number keys are for losers, seriously, that's playing it really cheap. Real players use the mouse.

Played the demo, it was awsome. I recommend you buy it.
