Yeah...like the second time I watched the intro.
WKTT is my new favorite radio station.

Uh, yeah? That was like, a very important thing in the whole storyline, how can you possibly not notice that?

I didn't notice it
probably because I was 7 or something
Popping in this thread with a quick question.
I was thinking about buying the GTA IV: Complete Edition from the Steam sale, but I've been told that the game is poorly optimized, and might not work on my computer.
Is there a way to find out if my PC can run it or not?

they actually optimized the game a lot recently, so it might run. what's your pc specs?
To be honest, I'm not really familiar with computer specs, and such. I just know what I can and can't run based on what games I own. I don't really know what's important or not, but I'll post what seems important from this System Information:
Os: Windows Vista Home Premium
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P7350 @ 2.00GHz, 2000 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)
RAM: 6.00 GB
Graphics Card (I'm guessing it's a graphics card): ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650
Is there any other bits of information I need to post? Because I have no clue. :downs:

Low to Medium probably.
If my PC can run the game, that's all that matters. Graphics can't get in the way when I'm having fun running over pedestrians in first-person.
Is there a recent components mod that works for GTA IV? I want the gloves and the bag just like everybody else.

Honestly, I'd doubt you'd get a playable framerate on lowest. It's a laptop(Right?), and with such a poor processor you'll get nowhere.
My old LGA 775 Pentium D at 3.2Ghz OC'd, which is pretty much two P4's stuck together in one, could hardly get a playable framerate on lowest at 1024x768.

Low I'd say. First person mod is great on any settings. Especially with a trainer.

Your graphics card is the mobility version which is horrible IIRC and your processor isn't great though

2.5-3ghz is ideal

It might, but probably not. Get something better.

Just kill her, would mean that CJ wouldn't get any pussy though.
SA pisses me off. Most people who say it's the best started with it. The characters are shit, the story makes no sense and half the missions were terrible.
I have to agree with you there, SA seemed like an unpolished piece of shit to me.
III, and Vice City on the other hand...
2 thousandth post.
To go online for the PC in GTA:IV, do you need to go through the cellphone in singleplayer like on Xbox?

Multiplayer, is what I'm asking.
I really liked TLAD, i wish it was longer

This. I just beat it yesterday. Was a great story. Honestly, all the characters were awesome (except Ashley of course).

Most trainers have options to get those.
2100 msp considering tbogt for pc GTAIV

Actually, I found San Andreas quite ok. The story seemed perfectly understandable and the missions were fun. Especially stealing a jet or gunning some policemen down while somebody's driving the bike. The story and missions had their point IMO
2% of install time left until I can play GTA IV! Yay.
Have you guys forgotten about the Facepunch SA:MP server or what? :frown:
If I get gifted GTA 4 complete edition, will i still get the DLCs even though I already have GTA 4 with no DLCs?
Made this to commemorate this thread. All footage was captured in Free Mode on Gay Tony.
