GTA:SA was the one of the best, mod-wise. It also has pretty good multiplayer on the PC.
GTA:IV is my favorite so far, the physics and graphics are amazing. The missions aren't boring either.

I have version 3.0 of GTA:SA, which is the Direct2Drive version of the game. As far as I know mods don't work with this version, is there any way I can install mods like 1.0 users can.

Tip: press V to get a first person view. It's way easier like that.
I don't get why does everyone find helicopters so damn hard to fly on PC. Just turn off mouse piloting and it's easy as fuck.

Yeah but in the mission for Yusuf where you [sp]have to blow up boats and fly really close to the water[/sp] I tend to drop into the water really easy.
On PC I find helicopter controls relatively easy
I much prefer the helicopters on xbox though.

I eventually passed it, it was just hard.
I came back to play GTAIV after ages, updated all my ASI loaders and ScriptHooks and shit and installed a couple of mods, but I think a couple of older mods are stopping my game from working cause it crashes at the end of the load screen. Is there any way to easily find out which files are modded? Because I don't want to have to download all 15GB of GTA again.

I get extremely choppy lag even using a quarter of my resource usage, it's bullshit.
Can anyone point me to any working Riot mods for GTA IV? ones that simulate the old riot cheat, I have been searching myself but they're all outdated and don't work with the current version or have serious stability issues.
I'm still looking at the moment but if anyone can point me to one I'd really appreciate it.
