No bad ones, I just don't like overly modded servers. I want a survival experience, not a sandbox, teleport everywhere, spawn anything, don't use griefer tools server.
There was a server that was revolving around the whole 'YEAH BROMINE URHEUIRGDFIGHD' concept where everyone works together. But the only thing that the admins did was stand around afk for 8 hours at a time. During one of their afk sessions, one guy thought it was funny to make the spawn into an abyss that leads straight to bedrock. Every time you spawned, you died immediately. The admins did nothing, so I left and never came back.

Spent the last several days building a town and slowly expanding it by allocating lots and building utilities for them like public farms, an arena, etc.
Then out of nowhere one of our admins decides it would be a good idea if he effortlessly carved a huge square cube that dwarfs the town out of the town, tearing out a huge chunk of it along with most of the caves we mine from using world edit, filled everything with lava and built a giant ugly stone box housing what I can best describe as a penis cathedral/theme park. He did all of this utilizing world edit because he is a lazy fuck who who figures "I have no skill whatsoever so what I can't do well I'll do big and I can do that in like 10 seconds by tearing everyone else's shit up"
When I commented that it was slightly out of place considering the otherwise neatly groomed town I had helped create and populate with (up until now) happy players I was promptly answered with a very half-assed attempt at fixing it. But at least he did that much.
I hate admins that feel so superior to you that they don't give two shits if they covered your whole town in bedrock and built generic shitty box hotel #3494584986 on top if it.
The worst part is that they can do this in seconds with the magic wand tool (because they have no imagination and bigger = better obviously) and then get away with it. Then they ban you after you complain.
I just got all my stuff stolen on a whitelist no grief server where my house is 4000 x 2000 away

I remember playing with this guy "Biggles34". The first time I met him, he basically said "I bet you aren't even asian", backed up with "im so strong i could prolly beat the shit out of you, i bench 550 you know"
I prompty call his bluff about being a 12 year old and I hit the sore spot right on the bat; he immediately came up to my moon-house(it floats over the main town being all impressive and shit) and builds right up to it, then lays down 20 or so TNT while I teleport to spawn and look at him funny. He blows up the moon(MY moon) and cackles away about his superiority.
Too bad the admin of the server is a bro I've played with for four years. I asked him to give me sub-administrator(can give items and ban, but no map editor or such). I find Biggles34's house and turn his ENTIRE floor into a minefield set off by a pressure pad in his doorway. I watch and I wait for 15 minutes, then he goes to his house and immediately turns it into stone vapor.

I joined this server hosted by a guy I know, there was only one other admin and they were both retardedly ban happy. It was bland and flat and all the materials were hacked in, so there were about twenty diamond houses made by these two guys. The second admin decides it would be "Epic lulz pwnage xD" to lock me in his iron house. I decide to try and dig out. I then get banned for "destroying my blocks u fukcign nub."
Some admin set up a spawn maze where if you got through to the end, you can go outside. I made to the end. Turns out that there wasn't any exit. Everyone laughed at me.
It was on a 7chan server mind you, so totally my fault.

There were some slimes in a cave while we were all mining, but everyone else kept saying that they couldn't see the slimes....(Later discovered it was a SMP bug).
But these slimes, were fapping around the place on my screen, so I was trying to kill them with a bow and arrow. However, they weren't really there for anyone else, so my arrows ended up hitting all the other players, and I was promptly banned.
This fucker on a server I was on who blew up, burned, and looted everything I built and mocked me, calling me a "gay whore, and gays are retarded". All my attempts to retaliate were for naught, because he had diamond armor and I had iron. Then one day I found his giant castle, and the medieval town he had built around it. Long story short: This 12-year old logs in one day to find that his creations had been blasted into a forty-block deep crater, burned, covered in magma, and then plastered with signs proclaiming the superiority of "the great one" (myself) and giant magma penises.

that dosent sound like the worst experience
So I join a new server. I try to be friendly, typing in "Hi guys, I'm new!" You know, the normal polite procedure. So then after I say that some kid comes up to me saying this:
Him: "zres (my MC name) u r admin???"
Me:"Nope, I'm new to this server."
Him:"no ur not ur admn"
Me:"I'm really sorry, but I'm not an admin."
*awkward silence for about ten seconds*
Him:"giv me diamunds plz amdin"
Me:"But, I'm not an admin? I can't give you diamonds."
Him:"idc giv me diamund"
Then he kills me with his iron sword, probably hoping to find some dropped goodies from my bloodied blocky corpse. He found nothing and raged at me once I respawned.
Him:"HOW COME U DONT HAVE N E THING"
Me:"...Because. I just joined the server for first time..."
He really tested my patience at this point. I was on the verge of flooding him with "big and scary" words to chase him away (destroying buildings is wrong; I'd never do that.) Unfortunately, his whining caused a commotion, as the server's REAL admin started to talk to us.
Admin: "noob, dont u got diamonds for my bro"
Me: "You're an actual admin, right? Can't you give him diamonds instead?"
Admin: "no dats cheating hes playing fare by killin u"
Me: "I told him I was new. I honestly don't have any items to give. If anything, your 'bro' needs to learn how to listen."
Admin: "give him diamond"
Yeah, I left right after that was said. It was getting nowhere and I couldn't possibly imagine the situation getting any better so I just left. Saddest part was that it was my very first multiplayer experience. If you guys could direct me to an actual decent server I'd be grateful. The MC forums aren't exactly reliable, but I can trust you guys :buddy:
Oh god I hate stupidity like that even more than actual griefers. I would have burned everything in that server down within minutes.
I gifted some bread and books to a guy, and some minutes later I noticed that He was behing the door of my house, He said "I just wanted to stalk you" It was a bit creepy, He looked like a nice guy and I wasn't expecting him to try to kill me (hell, he even opened my chest and didn't take aanything from it)
Sucks if that's you're first MP experience in Mine Craft. I know a server, but it requires being white listed. I'm not 100% sure how the process of begging mods to white list people goes.

Well I had some pretty awkward experience once, we were filling a friends block-fort with TNT as a bad joke thing, but we didn't really think it through too much. So then there was nightfall, we both had like 4 hearts, no food, a lot of diamonds from a previous haul, and a bit of wool. So we do the smart thing and decide to sleep the night over in the last 3x3 room within the TNT wall.
However, both the beds were declared unsafe by the engine, and our attempt ended up with 2 zombies spawning in the 3x3 room. In pure panic we actually manageto kill both of them, without dying, and without setting off the TNT. Then we did the only logical thing and waited for the night to pass in a giant box filled with TNT.
Then, just as morning arrived and we decided to run for it, our friend joins the server and spawns in the little room next to his bed we left open for him. Being in absolute darkness, and being fairly new to MC, he starts swinging his stone sword around like mad, setting off the TNT and blowing the islad to smithereens.
There were no survivors that day, and the entire island he built on dissapeared into the ocean.
A steam friend invites me to his MC server. After some time he decides to teleport me into a sealed off cave with nothing in my inventory.
