Uh oh.
[img_thumb]http://daviddeacon.net/images/turok_boxart_vygj.jpg[/img_thumb]
Agreed, I don't know how it's possible to make a Turok game so boring. True talent right there.

the first one was great. The second one...
the first one was great. The second one...
Replayed the first mercenaries game atleast 7 times , loved it that much.
the second one wasn't totally bad, the humor was great "this is an emergency! a viking emergency!"
I don't know how it's possible to make a Turok game so boring.
Leave out the cerebral bore.
I'd have to say Shellshock 2: Bloodlines, i played it for day hadn't touched it since
Star Wars: Legacy
I'd have to say Shellshock 2: Bloodlines, i played it for day hadn't touched it since
That isn't even worth trying to make better, it's a horrible game with a horrible story and is just fucking HORRIBLE!
Bridge it Thanks very much chronic logic for fucking over a great series of games by making it Nvidia only...
[img_thumb]http://www.gamercenteronline.net/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/83732.png[/img_thumb] Sucks very badly
Man did I love NFS during the Hot Pursuit days.
Sim City Socities - Here i was expecting a Sim City 4 in 3D but they replaced it with a dumb economic system and no zones
I KNEW there had to be someone who was thinking this! I played SC4 for hours upon hours and thought that a new version would be great. Very glad that I didn't pay for it, as it was uninstalled within 30 minutes.
It sucked, but could have been good. The entire Turok universe has all the good elements for superb environments, game-play mechanics, mixture of science-fiction and fantasy, challenges, boss battles, various possible antagonists, exploration, etc, but Turok (the game referred to here, not the actual franchise) ruined it (the franchise) for the time being, and I hope not forever. Also the development team behind that game had never made any previous games before, it was their first, no one right in their mind should give the green light for the making of a freakin' Turok game to a newbie team, but it happened, that's the result, and I for one was very pissed off.
Yeah, they shit on my favorite N64 games :saddowns:
The Sims 3. Overhyped. Felt like it was rushed out the door. And looked too much like TS2. I do not want to spend my gameplay tweaking my sims to get them to look realistic, when I could be watching them live in a house. But house building has just gotten boring for me over the years. Used to be fun. Now it's.. meh.
Not to mention they left out a chunk of the content so they could suck more money out of you.
That's funny, before clicking this thread (but after reading the title) I instantly thought, "Alone in the dark"
Man did I love NFS during the Hot Pursuit days.
Amen. High Stakes was one of the best in the series.
Don't know if this has been posted yet.
This game had so much potential, but it turned out pretty bad. You didn't even have to shoot any guys really. The game had it's moments, but it turned out awful.
EXACTLY. Altair is a fantastic character, but honestly, the game was fucking awful.
I liked it, running around the city freestyle to your objective was fun enough to make me forget the repetition.

cant believe it took four pages to get to Merc 2
Spore. EA shoulda just poured money on Wright instead of thinking "We'll take over now thanks"
True, They should of stuck with the good ideas of the start of the planing and not make it so child friendly in the terms of the gore ( to make it more realistic ) and less of a cartoon look. That game had potential.
This could of been a pretty good game, the idea of working for the bad guys was a cool idea. But, as you can see it was made by EA, so it had its problems. It didn't really even deserve to be called Goldeneye, because now when I think of the N64 game I have to think of this dissapointing waste of time.
The Force Unleashed.

Hellgate: London
Kill.switch. Seriously, it could have been the Gears of War of its time and an instant classic, but it came out pretty average and uninteresting.
Agreed, I don't know how it's possible to make a Turok game so boring. True talent right there.
I actually enjoyed Turok very much, although I hated it at first because I played the 360 version. I bought it for PC and had a blast. It was too short and rather easy however, but I still liked it. It's impossible, that game is one of a kind. Even Perfect Dark didn't quite live up to the standard of enjoyment that Goldeneye set, at least for me.

Holy shit that looks awesome, but, why did it fail or whatever? EDIT: Never mind, saw the trailers :v:
Fallout 2: Was just the original with a couple of new lighting effects, the original was good but 2 was just annoying, if they had actually made a new game instead it would've been good. Resistance Fall of Man: Had a really bad health system (similar to the one Far Cry 2 suffered from) ,if just that was changed it would be an ok game. Far Cry 2: Might as well be called Jeep Simulator 2.
