Mirror's Edge - well, I wouldn't really call it bad, it was kinda mediocre really. a lot of wasted potential; placing the player inside cramped office spaces was a shit idea when the gameplay focuses on open freerunning/parkour
Unreal Tournament 3 - "hey, arena fights are main point in UT, but let's add a campaign with aliens that makes no fucking sense. and let's make it really similar to Gears."
Resistance 1/2 - The concept of aliens in the 40's was a great idea, but kinda ruined when gameplay was mediocre, and humanity suddenly had high-tech weaponry. I wanted to shoot down aliens with a Garand
I actually really ennjoyed FC2 aswell

Didn't suck, was just kinda mediocre and the first mission was way too fucking hard. Now I can't find the disc. :crying:

This game was meant to be tactical. The community killed it. :frown:

I judge PC games by their graphics too much because I can see the details more. I'm gonna reinstall this and give it another chance.

Agreed.
Joint Ops is an amazing game... well it would be if people still played it :frown:

You should try playing on servers that customize the guns, they usually block weapons and nerf damage and recoil for others. I don't remember the IP of this specific server but I'm sure it's called "Alternative CS" but all I know is they removed the autosnipers, the AWP, and made the desert eagle a monster recoil-machine when fired too fast.
the AWP
I know, I know. The AWP in the Counter Strike series is apparently the AW50 (might not be). :buddy:

Nice. I'm gonna have to find it.
I actually liked FC2, sure it was a bit repetitive and I raged my first play through. I played through it again recently and really enjoyed it. Sneaking up on people seemed a lot more fun, and the random douchebag camps along the roadsides weren't as frustrating.
That aside it is a repetitive game, however some of the mechanics it had could be well used in future games. Such as the degrading weapons, real time broken weapons in Fallout 4 or the next Elder Scrolls game would be amazing, same goes for the real time menus. Maps and inventory could be entirely dealt with in the world and be much much more immersive.
I loved the Malaria element they added to the story.
What I don't liked about farcry 2 was that, first of all, the enemies always knew where you are, and second there was no epic snipes and shit because instead of the falling back super cool after you shot them, they would just grab their heart injured, and there was no point of the being injured, it's not like it would make a teammate go and help him, it's just so that they can moan a bit before they die.
[editline]10:51PM[/editline]
still loved the game though.
Soldner.
The developers pretty much didn't give a fuck.

You can tell by the fact that they didn't even proofread the title.
Hybrid Heaven for the N64. Either way I enjoyed it.

Smaller maps than the already small maps of stronghold, fucking long load times, and less customization for castles.
I didn't know anyone even knew of that games existence on this forum besides me.
I was unbelievably hyped for it.
After playing COD and BF1942, I was wondering what's next for MP gaming and I saw that game.
Kept track of it for a year, watched videos, and read everything.
Looked and sounded awesome.
Then the MP demo was released and I joined servers full of players who were bitching about everything and others just awkwardly trying to convince themselves that it was a good game.
Easily one of the bigger gaming disappointments for me.

No, fuck that degrading weapons bullshit. I couldn't get through a single mag if I took a weapon off an enemy.
Darkest of Days, Mirrors Edge, and Far Cry 2.
I don't think all those games necessarily suck, they just could have been better. They had a lot of potential to be awesome.
Oblivion
There was little to no immersion, which was what got me hooked on The Elder Scrolls and specifically Morrowind. Even Arena and Daggerfall had more immersion. Walking down the street hearing the following conversation every 30 seconds kind of ruins things:
"Hello"
"Hi, did you hear about the new books at the bookstore?"
"bye"
"bye!"
I would laugh my ass off every time I heard conversations taking place.
Bethesda really needs to get their shit together.

I'm glad you agree, that new game they're making looks like shit too.
Fallout 3 fixed a few issues i had with Oblivion, but the mediocre gunplay and the fact that it really just felt too much like Oblivion really bothered me. I hate that i feel like i'm hovering all the time.

I love the Might and Magic series, but Ubisoft fucked its shit up.

I wouldn't say it sucks. It's fun. It just didn't do it for me. I found I didn't give a shit about what was going on, or about any of the characters, like I did in GTA 4 for example. I also found that, unlike in GTA 4, which is the only thing I can think of to compare it to, there was really no sense of weight/gravity and realism in Alex's movement and it had a very arcade feeling as a result of these two cons. Also, no multiplayer of any sort? What's with these games that have absolutely no multiplayer feature? I paid for Live, I want to play some games on there. I say all games should come with a multiplayer function, if applicable, as a standard.[/release]
The thing about Prototype is that it wasn't original. There have been dozens of free-roaming superhero games, and this one was essentially a hi-def Hulk: Ultimate Destruction with a different character and story.

Fallout 3 has that problem sometimes(a lot) too.
"Hi Jericho."
"Yeah?"
"Bye."
"Whatever."

Agree times infinity. UT2k4 was such an awesome game, but this, this was.. Just horrible.
Oh god, Spore.
If only they didn't make the space stage like a vacation in which you'd have to feed your pets every day.
Prototype; Horrible controls, impossible Hard Consumes
Far Cry 2; Do I need to say what's been said?
Uplink; After some time it starts repeating itself
Had others, teacher came, thought was cut.
Every 3d sonic game
Why cant sega just remake Sonic 1,2 and 3 in HD so its like Little Big Planet
