So anyways, I was thinking "its been a while since I have played Dawn of War, and my brother took it with him to college, maybe I should pick it up while its on sale!" And saw this: 9.99 + 9.99 = 29.99?
How good is Greed Corp ?
Hmm, I'm not sure what to get from the sale today.
Shitty deals IMO. Didn't like Ball, have Amnesia and nothing else appeals to me :smith:
Kane and Lynch 2 doesn't suck. It's just different. [editline]29th December 2010[/editline] Also I recommend: Brothers in Arms Plants Vs Zombies Amnesia Kane and Lynch 2 is fun for the multiplayer, I really enjoy the multiplayer actually. Who doesnt find robbing a scenario, fleeing to a getaway van while watching your back for traitors and cops fun? Only issue I find for the multiplayer is sometimes the connection can really be shitty.
how much is amnesia I don't see it on sale on the front page although I dislike horror games because they rely too much on jump scares
how much is amnesia I don't see it on sale on the front page although I dislike horror games because they rely too much on jump scares
Amnesia doesn't rely on jump scares much, only at some times. Mostly it relies on atmosphere.
Is Kane and Lynch 2 worth £3.75. I know the reviews were mediocre at best, but it's not a lot of money for a recent title is it?
I got it for Multiplayer, which should be ok. Car models suck though.
so dead space is now 5€. Worth buying?
It's a very good game. Not scary, but still atmospheric at times and fun.
Grabbed Amnesia, Dead Space, and Swords and Soldiers. Hopefully the awesome sales continue
I'm incredibly tempted to get Kane and Lynch 2 but something seems to be putting me off it, and I don't know what.
so dead space is now 5€. Worth buying?
Yes. It's not a particularly scary game, but it is a fucking fantastic horror-themed action game. The fact it is that cheap this soon after release is a bad sign
So anyways, I was thinking "its been a while since I have played Dawn of War, and my brother took it with him to college, maybe I should pick it up while its on sale!" Just purchase them separately.
Hearts of Iron 3 looks kind of cool. Really large scale and complex. Just what I like, but when I try the demo, it is.. just too complex. And I love deep games with steep learning curves. But it seems like you are just staring at a bunch of menus and nothing interesting happens.
I'm incredibly tempted to get Kane and Lynch 2 but something seems to be putting me off it, and I don't know what.
The fact that it's a two-hour tour-de-shake with aliases everywhere? maybe?
Good games for a netbook? [editline]29th December 2010[/editline] That are about $5
City of Heroes? Does it still live and breathe as it did a year or two ago? I know they released some free updates a month or so ago, but is it worth getting back into it?
no it doesn't

Last I checked (a few months ago), there's a few die hard fans still playing, but it's not close to how it used to be. And they still release free updates iirc.
Buy me Dead Space, please.
this isn't the shameless begging by people whose parents won't buy them games thread
