just wanna say that I only recently started using steam for non valve games during this sale and steam is a fantastic software that makes me not only forget about pirating or retail but makes me feel that every dollar I spend will be saved forever and never lost at the bottom of a drawer
They need to stop making Kane and Lynch and resume making Hitman games. Though, I'm afraid that the team has forgotten how to actually make fun games.

I've read that honestly the best way to play Dead Space on the PC was with a game controller. The mouse lag is supposed to be pretty bad.

You know I never had problems with the mouse. I played through half the game with the mouse and didn't have any issues and then switched to gamepad halfway through and although it was better the mouse still seemed fine.
Also if you like strategy games, or even if you don't Greed Corps is fucking awesome. Try to get it alongside some people so you can play it with them.

A quick Google search returned that people have been able to fix the lag, well at least reduce it, by messing with the v-sync options. Try disabling it in-game, but enabling it through your graphics control panel.
Yeah, you have to change a few ingame options for the mouse to work smoothly in Dead Space.
It works fine, though. A little awkward at times, but nothing that bad.

I agree, it definitely is a pain in the ass. Here are the changes I made, but these are off the top of my head.
Ctrl = crouch
C = bullet time
Q = melee
Mouse 2 = ironsights
Dunno what else I changed.
