I've not bought much at all this sale. I got Conviction for myself and just bought a friend Half-Life 2 and Garry's mod. Kinda gutted I missed the sale on Dead Rising 2 thanks to my internet going down, but that will probably get cheaper over time.
I'm thinking of buying the Jedi Knight bundle. I haven't played any of them, but I've heard some are incredible. Which one is the best?
Is Farcry 2 good? I've heard some bad things, but most of them sound like nitpicks.

There isn't a bad one in the bunch, but if I were to pick a favorite, it would be the first Jedi Academy.

I have such good memories of the original jedi knight. The atmosphere was amazing at the time. They are still great games today. But Jedi Outcast really perfected saber combat imo.
I just bought the Jedi Knight series bundle and none of them work. Dark Forces II is unplayable and Jedi Knight II and Jedi Academy crash instantly. Wonderful way to spend money.

Most of the complaints is because people saw what it could do before the game was scaled back for the PS3 and 360

Farcry 2 is good, but the driving is a pain in the ass. Buses are slow, but I haven't played it on the PC yet so I'm sure itll be faster

Far Cry 2 is actually quite terrible. It's a textbook example of how to take a game that could really easily be fun and just make every aspect of it as unenjoyable as possible.

I bought the Jedi Knight pack on steam, does anyone know where I can download a map pack bundle with all the maps that people play online for Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast? Most of the servers don't allow custom downloading off them.

Considering getting Stalker collection, Star Wars collection, Far Cry 2 bundle, and/or Hitman collection.
Which of these do you guys think is worth it? I'm leaning towards the Stalker Collection and maybe some Hitman games (probably Hitman 2 and Blood Money since the collection doesn't actually lower the price as opposed to buying individually), but I'm unsure about the Far Cry 2 bundle or the Star Wars collection.

Stop being so full of yourself. STALKER isn't even close to being complex enough to prevent a port from being made. Last time I checked it was a PC TO CONSOLE port, so it shouldn't even matter. If they wanted to, they could make console ports for SoC. Would that instantly make the PC version a shitty game?
And the only reason you would dislike STALKER for including women is if you're a misogynist or something.

FarCry2 feels amazing for the first hour. Then you quickly realize that the remaining 90% of the game will feel like a complete grind. No side missions matter, exploring means next to nothing. There are two factions in the game, but they never shoot each other, just you.
The ending doesn't help either.
I love the selections of weapons, and the map creator is fun imo. I also enjoy the environment, what other game has you tear a gigantic splinter out of your arm and suffer with malaria?
