Trusting other people's judgement works when you visit a forum mainly filled with people of somewhat similar opinion.

You might not like it, but that doesn't make it a bad game.

Critics have no idea what they're talking about. Hell, I don't even have any idea what you are going on about.

You're also forgetting that these critics are just people like you and me, that write about their personal experience with a game, and that a lot of critics get to review games in a genre that might not appeal to them. I don't get why you think that the only people that know things have to be critics, people that get paid to do what every other single people on this forum does, talk about games.

Though this might not work for some of you arguing too much over this, I ask my friends since they generally have the similar tastes to me.

They're not all trustworthy, sure, but their final verdicts are more well-thought and developed than most people's.
