facepunch....sophisticated um nope
I meant the RATINGS SYSTEM, not the majority of the population. The Buggy rating is a good idea, though. I'll give you that at least.
Zombie Pigmen hang around in tribes, and hunt 'Fire Boar' which resemble pigs, only red, faster, and will charge at players, but run from pigmen. Every few days zombie pigmen will stop wandering around and put up tents with the rest of their tribe and wander around the camp for a day or so, and then destroy the tents and leave.
I don't think Fire Boars is the right prey for them to hunt. I think that perhaps Salamanders or Netherdrakes would be more appropriate, or maybe wild Capra, demonic horned goats native to the Nether.
Yeah them hunting boar would be borderline cannibalism. Salamanders would be pretty cool as a neutral Nether mob.
It actually just now realized why it'd be weird if it was boars :V Maybe they could have saddled magma slimes, and attacking it would provoke the pack, killing it would make a chest spawn where it died that contains supplies. And instead of boars, they could try to net ghasts, reel them in and kill them, and they hunt snakes that behave like silverfish, but when they exit netherrack they ignite it and they drop Worm Meat, which has a 10-15% chance of making the eater take periodic damage for a minutes. They spawn already inside of blocks that are exposed to air, and walking over it will cause them to exit and attack. Pigmen can magically smell them and will run around stomping them out of their block.

It's a good thing; everything changes, it's a good idea to give anyone a second chance. Except of course the Beelzebob. Fuck that capitalist pig.

it would be nice if there could be many different colors of fish, and they could depend on what biome you are in, so the fish have camouflage.
This might just be better as a mod, but I'd like it if instead of skins people chose male/female characters for whatever world they make, and they had hair that grows 1 pixel every minecraft week and you can get a hair cut by dragging shears onto their character screen in the inventory and right clicking on pixels on the 'hair' layer, and all pixels under it will go away.
Sounds kinda nifty, though yes it'd probably work best as a mod.
It seems extremely pointless and something you would only find on a creepy RP server. Void fog is really, really messy. I think fog should be on the levels, instead of coming on the screen as you enter the levels.
Player to player spread illness would be nifty
Player to player spread illness would be nifty
Maybe as a mod or an option on multiplayer servers. It'd be cool to have 3 or 4 players barricade their home out of paranoia.
Maybe as a mod or an option on multiplayer servers. Zombie players carry the zombie virus and have to try to infect the living players. Living players are forced to barricade themselves to survive.
A runic system using the Standard Galactic Alphabet. Why SGA? Enchantment tables use it, too. We have potions and enchantments, why not sprinkle a little more magic dust? Asthma, perhaps? Placing raw stone into an enchantment table opens up options like any other tool. (What? Another enchanting idea? Stone, get some real ideas!) Hold on a sec, I'm not through. Options include elements, levels, and what have you. Okay, it's getting similar to the wands idea I had a while back, but these are craftable. You can't just enchant a single Fire Stone and think it'll be useful. If wands were added, one could just enchant a level 3 fire spell using five experience levels. OR you could enchant a few Level Stones (also using respective experience levels, but going up to five). Got some Level Stones and elemental stones? Great, now it's time to craft. Craft them together in your 2x2 crafting matrix and you'll get some runes in SGA. Well, the icon would be in some form of SGA. The name would be similar to wands, like making a Lv5 Fire rune would be called "Inferno." A Lv5 Ice rune would be called "Coccyx." There are no "attributes" to this, unlike wands. You remember back from your childhood, playing RuneScape? Well, this system is inspired from that.

Then they fell off the surface of the Nether and were never mentioned again?
Is it wrong that I want beers in Minecraft? Bucket, wheat, sugar and mushroom. Bam, you got yourself a beer. [editline]18th March 2012[/editline] Blurs your vision, but increases your strength for a short period of time.
Why mushroom? Is that meant to be a yeast substitute?
Yeah.
I'd like to farm grapes with vines and create fine wine.
Painterly Pack has a neat option to replace wheat with grapes and bread with wine.
Painterly Pack has a neat option to replace wheat with grapes and bread with wine.
to make bread to put three grapes in a column and smash them together. seems legit
A mushroom biome in the nether, only instead of mushrooms there are giant netherwarts. (Taller, and the top slants to one side to make an r kind of). And the ground is made up of a mixture of soulsand and Wartmud. Wartmud speeds you up if you keep moving on it, but if you stop moving it'll debuff you with slowness, and it'll last until you move for 5 seconds straight. And if you don't move for a long enough time it'll poison you. The biome usually spawns within caves and conclaves and away from lava or giant open areas. Spore Traps spawn there, and they hide within a 2x2 space, and emit a yellow glow. When you walk on it will spring out and ensare you, and you have to hit it for it to let go. It has a 10% chance of dropping a 'Spore', and you can place it anywhere, and it'll trap mobs (and players, of course) once placed.
Random decayed statues of dragon heads, eggs, and half finished obsidian towers occuring in deserts, and spots that are within 500 blocks of a Stronghold. Overworld, surface towers I mean. These spots also have increased spawn rates of endermen, and if you place obsidian/sandstone/stone the endermen will attempt to complete or restore the structures. There are also rare spawns near these of endermen who have darker skin. They will attempt to take blocks FROM the statue, and build random masses of blocks near the statues. Other endermen will attack them, but if you right click on the darker endermen with blocks in hand, (must be obsidian or end stone) then they'll follow you, and if you right click on them, they'll start to try and build.
I want more ender-creatures. More weather too. Could be something like Enderfog, which will turn monsters into ender variants of themselves. (Higher HP, teleport when attacked, etc.) The teleport would be nerfed on them, like they couldn't teleport through walls. Same things for animals, but without the HP boost. It would affect the player by slowing them a bit, and if you stay out too long without a fog shield on, (Helmet, crafted by 1 leather helm with a piece of wool underneath.) it would start to damage you. Think like being in water, but you would have a much longer time before starting to drown.
