I just dont understand why people like a game just because it's a big name title, which is why alot of games get alot of high ratings in the first place.
guess what, it's not the ratings or name that makes people LIKE the game... it's the content. you're confusing getting the game with liking it.
you're aight. but i cannot understand that you can hate all those games... have you played any of them at all with an open mind? the whole allergy towards turnbased combate is a sad condition, be happy that you (hopefylly) didn't game before 1995.
shortly: people like games because they think they're good, the rest is bullshit.
I weigh certain aspects of a game i like against aspects i dislike, and i also take repetitiveness and similarity into mind when comparing sequels.
you're being too acedemic and analyzing about it. it's alright. but going :downs: over a game once in a while is healthy. don't over analyze, you might miss a lump of gold.
people "claim" that fallout 3 is repetitive... it is... if you keep doing the same shit time and again. however, if you start lollygagging around, there's shittons of places to stumble across, quests and events, not to mention random shit that you didn't know was there.
oh, and i dislike the "final Fantasy: EMO" series... also called "FF: 7-12" otherwise i don't really dislike games, i just forget they're there at all.
Tf2
final fantasy
tf2
half-life 1 and 2 and ep1/2
portal
css
fallout 3
mass effect 1/2
bioshock 2
Final Fantasy
Resident Evil
Heavy Rain
Metal Gear Solid.
But I own a PS3 :dumb:
Every STALKER game.
Fallout 3. I'll admit when I first got it I loved it for the first few weeks, but a year later I think I hate it.
[editline]11:40PM[/editline]
also Mass Effect
The online portion of Call of Duty MW2
All Stalker games
MW2
Oblivion
Mass Effect 1/2
Day of Deafeat
Aliens Vs Predator.
Guitar Hero 3
TTFAF ruined it :'(
MW2, Halo 3, and I REALLY hate sports games. If I wanna play football I can go out and do it, no problem. I play video games to do things I can't or won't do in real life. Like grand theft auto.
Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald
I beat it for the sake of beating it, I thought that it had the blandest Pokemon of the series. (Though Zangoose was the fucking shit)
this.
Oh yeah, that's right, that too.
Oblivion.
Found it to be extremely boring and tedious.

Whatchu talkin' about Willis?
You must have been playing on a console; ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES ON PC!
Mods. x3
Mw2.
Dwarf fortress
Dwarf fortress
Faaaaar from everyone like it.
Almost every RTS game out there.
I just can't understand how creating a 1000000 unit army before the opposing team does it and then attacking their base can be fun. Especially when done several times in a row.

Its an acquired taste. It gives me an adrenaline rush playing some sort of RTS game personally.
Guitar Hero
Team Fortress 2 here
This.
I'd rather get a good set of rounds in in CS:S.

Agreed. I also hated enemy movement, felt unnatural.

Yes it is, i have proof, Modern Warfare 2, everyone KNOWS it's MP is complete fuckpile of broken shit yet they all love it anyway. Everyone KNOWS it's campaign is less then 5 minutes long, but everyone LOVES it anyway. It's completely linear with little choice for exploration at all with unrealistic, invisible walls, yet everyone LOVES it anyway....
Then i guess it's really NOT reptitive, huh genius?
Heavy Rain
Now I'm not a violent person my self, but I will kill you..... :v:

Wow because you disagree with somebody's opinion for a boring game. Heavy Rain was amazing, but I can see the lack of appeal in it.

I'd rather watch a soap drama, and i hate soap drama's.
Fallout 3 kind blew.
