Thank you very much!
It seems that in LURK when you shoot NPCs they go into the incapacitated mode more often.
Which is good because I like going up to them and knifing them in the face. :v:
I like reviving people, then I see green when I look at them. I wish that being friends with people would do something, maybe they could follow you like in OL?
Video will be done shortly, then give Youtube some time to sort it out to make it HD. Don't mind the pretty bad lag that I get when going up the trash hills, FRAPS sucks as most screen recording software does. Normally I get 250+ FPS in the Garbage.
250 FPS?
I only get around a constant 45. :saddowns:
[editline]12:25AM[/editline]
And for some reason when I take a screenshot my FPS goes down to 30 and won't go back up until I load a save.

I share your pain. :saddowns:
Typo 150+ :saddowns:
Everyone who has constant sunshine or nice weather.
I hate you :frown:

without mods I'm trapped in a never ending night, the last time I saw day was when I got attacked by a bloodsucker :frown:

Youtube is pissing me off, first off it's taking forever to upload and it's not even showing me progress.
Yay done, watch in HD.

Someone take a video of Rostok at night with mutants :(
I'm going to have nightmares tonight, I got jumped by 2 bloodsuckers (I freaked and flew out my chair) and my room is pitch black right now and all I can hear are the sounds bloodsuckers make :ohdear:
Can anyone post a link of LURK and fixes for it and such?
Finally beat SHoC and goddamn that last stretch was horrible. When the blowout warning/timer came up: "Are you shitting me!?" I ended up just hauling ass inside, too bad I got one of the "Bad" endings but the delicious irony made up for it.

Now you should play through with a mod and get the real ending.
Does anyone know of some decent hand mods? Lurk's is a piece of shit.
What's with the AK-74 though? I have one in perfect condition from the military but when I sprint the crosshair gets so inaccurate it goes across the entire screen and it takes like 5 seconds for it to go back to normal.
as you know, LURK was made by people from /v/ and /k/
/k/ hates "slavshit AK-74" So this might be their way of trolling STALKER.

you didn't complete the game then. You missed a great part of the end and the whole mystery behind the zone.
It's like r2_sun_near_border ## or something. I have this problem too so I type that in and tweak the numbers from 0.1 to 0.9.
I thought it was 2 to fix it.
Will stalker clear sky work on my pc?

Shadow of Chernobyl works on it.
You have 8GBs of RAM? :raise:
But uh, yeah, it should run fine. Not at max settings, I don't really think any computer can handle it with a good FPS at max settings.

Mine does and it's worse than that build. Of course, I can't run the dx10 effects so lets say I can run it dx9 all maxed.

I wouldn't buy Clear Sky, I didn't think it was as good as SoC. I have two copies, I could give you one of the keys.
Woah, just had a kick ass night in LURK.
At midnight I left Sidorovich, two missions in my PDA: ''Kill the Rookie Stalker'' and ''Destroy the Bandit Camp''. It was dead night right there, couldn't see more then 2 meters with the flashlight, so I turned on my night-vision. Trippy shit man, but it was still hard to spot mutants.
So, I headed out to Garbage, being careful not to run into any mutated freaks along the way. The night was quiet, and I was lucky, no animals attacked me. However the same had not befallen Guide and Fox, who both lied dead in the small ruins of their favorite house. Atleast they had taken with them approximately 5 or 6 dogs and a boar. Rest in peace, guys. Heading out further, and entering Garbage all went smooth, and soon I arrived at Bes' camp. Gunshots mixed with the roars of the Boars. Bang, bang, bang - silence. One by one Bes' companions fell and once I joined the fight, he alone fought the beasts. I saved him, but the scrapyard was littered with bodies of boars and Stalkers.
My target was not here - but further up the valley, in the old Bandit encampment. The bastard was there with his friends, scourging the nearby anomaly field, which was full of artifacts - Meat Chunks to be precise. Taking out my knife, I crept up to a target, not able to see is he my designated Stalker. Slash, knife in his neck. Slowly, quietly put the body down on the ground, as my PDA flashed - Mission Completed (Kill the Rookie Stalker). His companions looked around, searching for the weird moan they heard, but returned to their positions.
I turned back, and started to head forward to my next mission. A Bandit group had troubled Sidorovich for some time now, requesting fees to enter the Garbage. The trader needed the Garbage, since he had started a business of giving foreigners tours of the Zone. As I passed through scrapyard , I once more heard gunshots. A small herd of Fleshes attacked the Lone Stalker. Sadly I arrived late, as Bes succumbed to the Fleshes. After killing one of the beasts, the rest fleed. Damn.
Further up the road, there was a small Bandit camp, along some concrete blocks. The bastards were alert, as they protected all sides of their small fort, flashlights lighting up the darkness. One entrance was not covered, and I quickly crawled into their midst. Stab, one fell, the others not hearing a thing. Then they opened fire - a pack of Pseudo dogs chose that exact moment to attack. One of the bandits got so scared, he ran away - straight into a Whirligig. The rest took care of the dogs. Then, when they started to look for their friends, I finished them both off with two pistol shots to the head.
My targets were further up the valley, most likely hiding from Sidorovichs' goons. Hey, not escaping me, pals! They had discovered a small anomaly field with a single Jellyfish floating in it. Again the same routine - stab, slash, stab. All three laid dead. Plucked the Jellyfish and went out of there, another satisfying beep coming from my PDA.
Returned back in the Rookie Village at about 6 in the morning. Was a great night!

I have a kickass computer that can handle it with ease! :3:
Is LURK actually any good?
I would hate downloading that massive file only to play for an hour.
What are the major things LURK changes/adds?
Okey, here's the thing, lots of new textures (mostly everything) a load of new weapons and awesome balance fixes and ofcourse that NPC's have seeing radius so you can sneak in for a kill. And weather's better and, ugh... Go to moddb thank you.

then we can relate to eachother :v:
Okay what the fuck, I found an image of a location in STALKER (Clear Sky, I think, that's what the image name says) that I've never seen before, can anyone ID the place?
