My final conclusion to this: 1. There is an error on my part, I will update my video card drivers tonight and experiment again, but I don't expect miracles. 2. There is something within the bar that is being loaded upon entering that is causing this abnormality. I hope that is thorough enough for the block heads that will assume it's a fixed bug.[/QUOTE] I've been getting the crashes when loading saves in the Bar. Try loading the autosave, that's the only one that works for me. I love how you can sneak past the Duty base guards and talk to the trader if you know how. I managed to go up the ladder by them, sneak along the rooftop to return to the ground far off from them (There's a tower between you and them at this point), bandage up your new wounds, and then sneak up to the Duty trader and trade through the window. There's a gap between a column or something and a wall with a bunch of debris in it, you can weasel your way through it by shift+crouching and spamming spacebar. Did the new patch change the Duty trader? I like him how he is in my game. LURK, you fucking piece of shit! I just faced two problems at once, one's the same as my previous problem! The first one was, I was exploring the Army Warehouses (Where freedom base is) and there was a group of bandits walking around, being the stealthy fucker I am, I sneak up behind one and stab him. After feeling my knife cutting into his vitals, he laughs and turns around to shoot me dead along with his two friends. Then I try to load my last save, and just like in the bar, the game crashes during the "CLIENT:Synchronizing" part of the load.[B] FUCKING LURK! MY STALKER WORKED FINE BEFORE THE BAR AND NOW IT'S CRASHING WHEN I LOAD![/B] The log is empty too. :rant: I have the latest patch, and this occurred before the patch as well. Except for the knife part.

I really hate to ask, but is there any way to get the minimap back? I know it was probably removed on purpose but I really prefer having it, thanks.

I think that it should have a brightish (Contrasting with most stuff to be easy to see) compass in the left top corner, a green stamina bar beneath the Health bar, and maybe a little clock in the top right corner. That would be grand. I love the minimalistic feel of the LURK HUD, leaves tons of space to see what's going on

I seem to be invincible in LURK. The only thing that hurts me is radiation.

Put that in your gamedata (make sure noting is there already) Apply somefaggots fix Apply holdens fix. I'm in the garbage with no problems so far and this setup.

I looked in my Savedgames folder, and my saves I added before the crashes aren't there, just some old ones and stuff. Maybe there's an error with the game saving? Maybe my names for the recent saves wouldn't have worked, I made 3 saves, named 1, 2 and 3.

I have no idea why either, considering that file is in my textures folder. I'm taking a look into it.

Since my stalker isn't steam version can I use a steam shortcut to it or would it mess up the mod? I want to use the web IN stalker :D
