The extracting requires the part 2 to finish.
Holy fucking shit, just installed LURK, and now whenever I launch STALKER, the little image pops up for a few seconds and then disappears. A blank window comes up for a split second and then disappears afterwords. I've tried adding -noprefetch into the target, taking it out, everything!
Reinstalling with just part one this time, hopefully it will work.
So did anybody get ingame and try it out yet? Also, new avatar woop woop.
I can only get to the menu screen, it crashes when I start the game.
It looks pretty though, and it kept the old menu music which I loved. (and hated when OL replaced it.)
I think my issue may be that I put part one where I thought I put part two and put another copy of part one where I intended by mistake, so I'm re-downloading it.
No! One shitty dirt texture file is missing! I hope it still works... It didn't works, well reinstalling LURK (unexpected end of archive) FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF........
Tried it like for an hour. Did some quests, killed some monsters. The economy system sure is.. fresh. Monster parts are now on every single one of them, and they are worth a pretty penny at the Merchants. I got 10000 RU from 2 Boar legs and a Pseudodogs tail. Also tried a shotgun (SPAS), it sure is powerful.
But it feels like the Vanilla STALKER, that is, if you aren't bothered by the huge head bobbling.

Nooo i can't open the second part anymore! Fuck this! This is why i stopped playing Stalker in the first place, and the first part was missing ONE texture file and thou the FILE IS CORRUPTED :bang:!
I used to enjoy playing stalker with OL. After a while it got boring so I stopped playing. Now I've decided to start playing again with this new LURK mod. Everything seems awesome. The graphics is a lot nicer. (I upgraded my computer since I last played it). And I like the new weapons.
But it keeps crushing for me when I'm returning from the first quest (bandit factory one).
I miss some features from OL. Like random anomalies, blow outs, sleeping, AI looting corpses, more campfire songs etc. Is there anyway to make those features return?
What the fuck is this steam group, don't make it invite only. Going to add you Paravin as Game Epidemic in a few seconds.
