It's just radiated shit hanging from the ceiling.
Though u gotta admit it looks awesome :3
man fml. I'm playing Oblivion Lost (not 2009) and in the Brain Scorcher. For some reason on my way out there was a blowout, and you could feel the ground and stuff shaking underground. Anyways, a controller, two burers and a blood sucker spawned behind me and I have to fucking run away. My green space suit is half degraded and my two rifles are running out of ammo. To top it all off there are still Monolith in my way.
Is there an English version for the Old Good Stalker Mod for Clear Sky?
Over at the GSC forums we've managed to replicate that feature from CS that changes your arms texture when you change suit in ShoC. Still in early steps though. But it's working.
Awesome.
But, but...Q1 2010? :saddowns:
thats in 4 months.
Almost half a year ;____;

I've been stabbing enemies and if they're wearing anything more than a bandit jacket, it usually takes multiple shots to take them down.
Gonna test the earliest version now. With video.
what the shit does this thing do, i saw them in CS but i can't really understand what the fuck they do other than make artifact appearing noises [img_thumb]http://imgkk.com/i/VSv5R0.png[/img_thumb]
In SHOC the PDA says something about how it explodes when high-velocity objects pass though it or something like that. but they don't do anything if shoot it or touch it.

Ran into problems, no video yet.

Bloodsucker ambush oh crap
FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU I just accidentally pushed F9 and it loaded to a save I made ages ago. And I forgot to manually save it. :crying:
Do you have an autosave? Also, we found out the problem in the "arm code" and a fix is being made for testing.
I started playing Shadow of Chernobyl again. What's this anomaly? It's a little circle that fades in and gets smaller. If I throw in a bolt, it makes a little circle around the bolt, which turns into a dinky little fireball and flies off with a smoke trail. It's pretty common.

Will that arm skin system be compatible with most mods?
I just bought this game. It's really frustrating.
Vortex. it sucks people into the center and makes them go poof. :v:
And it's a bitch to get out of.
I just bought this game. It's really frustrating.
You must be doing something wrong then.
You must be doing something wrong then.
-Shnip-Bad mood when posted. Ignore-
Red Forest in LURK is annoying me. I don't have that much ammo/medkits left, I have a pistol and a sniper rifle (OTs-33 something and the IMI Galil sniper rifle), I keep dying to the soldiers, dogs keep coming out of nowhere, and there's radiation everywhere.
That just sounds like vanilla Red Forest. There are two paths you can take to get to the scorcher, through the actual forest which means you deal with mutants, or you take the road and face lots of monolith soldiers and radiation pocketed behind most of the strategic cover spots.
It seems every artifact either a Jellyfish or a stone flower. Although it was like that even before Lurk, it seems even more so now. The only "rare" artifacts I've found are 2 pellicles and a battery.

I haven't even reached the Red Forest yet, since I got the game-breaking performance issues in the Army Warehouses (I would play LURK more, but seriously, game-halting performance in that area)
Fix'd
You can pass the fence, I remember doing it before. I've started playing Clear Sky now with CS: Enhanced, and the gun sounds are still... horrible. I remember on my second playthrough of CS I used SomeGuest's mod which increased bullet damage and gave the weapons better sounds, but I don't have it anymore. Anyone got a link to that/some other mod that does that?
It's those damn spots of ripply air! I can't be bothered to look out for them, I want to sprint across the fields and gun down mutants and soldiers with a salvo of shots! Damn you and your non-regenerating health! /sarcasm.
No need to be a presumptuous dick. The thing I'm probably doing wrong is taking a mission before I've even gotten anywhere. All I have is a pistol and leather clothing and I took a mission where I have to rescue some guy whose name I forget by shooting a bunch of guys with a bunch of other guys. My guys always die, shortly followed by me due to being outnumbered. Think I should explore and find better equipment first?

As is killing your fellow stalkers one by one and stealing their stuff :D Also, the guy you rescue will give a mission about recovering a suit. It's armour better than your standard stuff, there's a few dogs...a warthog I believe? And a few bandits nearby, get it, kill the mission giver and you keep the armour :) Then, what I did (which is most likley the wrong way to do it) is open fire on the soldiers guarding the bridge, attack the base...south of you? Lure tham back to the camp, huge gunfight. Everyone dies. You loot. You sell. Buy better armour. Reach the bar. Armour is ruined and you're broke :D
In vanilla if you kill one loner all the rest will hate you. As in shoot you.
Yep :D But I sold stuff to the trader and now they're my buddies again :D
