You don't require the best pc in the world to access the funniest part of total war games; the grand campaign!
And his sucks compared to mine, and mine sucks compared to someone else, and so on and so forth. Can't wait 2 weeks :(
British empire raping what appears to be the United Provinces, whatever that is.
I believe United Provinces are the Dutch.
Yes! More massive RTS! I'm starting to miss RTS games, and so this will satisfy my strategist mind!
I got a PC Gamer today, 94 out of 100, not a bad score. Now let me just hope it lives up to the overblown hype I've stupidly built about it in my mind.
PC Gamer UK or US?
SHOW OFF>>>>>>> FFFFFFFFFF My computer sucks in comparison.
That's a shame, since I couldn't even run Medieval 2 maxed out, hehe. However I did recently survive a battle in Rome Total War with 9000 combatants.

is the demo out yet
I'm sorry, I just couldn't help it. What's this I hear about an online campaign?
Supposedly you can play a Grand Campaign with one other person over Steam. I don't have any further details, though. And yes, it actually did have "over 9000" combatants, technically. 6000+ were the Senate, 3000 was me.
the grand campaign over steam will be activated a week after release you can start up a game, and it can be saved to steam. the situations in which battles are fought or auto resolved are chosen at the start of the game. you can even make it so that enemy AI factions will be controlled by the other player in the battle stage

Would be pretty cool though.
Holy shit how much more exiting can Empire: Total War get? I'm about to explode from waiting.

Can't wait for this now. Gonna be off the charts!
Where's our demo god damn it. :( If the game has already been reviewed, surely you can let us have the demo.
The grand campaign online must be the best new feature of all (yes, even better than naval battles). The grand campaign hot-seat that was in the Medieval 2 exspansion was epic, especially the American campaign, me and a friend went on with it for weeks (the apaches were priceless, I got at least 2 full armies each turn).
Oh yeah, the OP should add all 5 chapters of the gameplay videos in the first post.
Oh shit, just looked at the naval picture in the OP. That will definitely rape my computer ten times over.
Will you be able to fight real-time battles in the multiplayer campaign? Not just auto-resolve? If not I don't really see a reason to play it.
Will you be able to fight real-time battles in the multiplayer campaign? Not just auto-resolve? If it is like in Medieval 2 then it's only auto-resolve.
Will you be able to fight real-time battles in the multiplayer campaign? Not just auto-resolve? If not I don't really see a reason to play it.
It should be like that but both players have to accept to it. Otherwise it would get pretty boring with some guy throwing single units of peasants at your enormous army of dragoons every 5 minutes just so you have to sit through the loading screen each time.
Scucks that Germans are not playable as we didn't really have a country at that time. "Holy Roman Empire of German Nationality" who would like to play that? Well I would.
demo is out tomorrow http://shoguntotalwar.yuku.com/topic/42851
