I had to kick out Ben Franklin as minister, he sucked, made all my units more expensive, had no positive effects.

Why are people buying it off steam? It's like £10 more expensive than what you can get in the shops..at least for us UK people.
£49.99 for the special forces edition on steam when I can get it for £34.99 from GAME..screw that lol, will just go down to GAME tomorrow after work and pick up a PS3 headset while I'm there too..

It's even better on play.com, since it's only £34.99 for the special forces one and you get the USS constitution with it.

Yeah £34.99 on GAME and that for the Special forces thing..Can't even see the special forces pack on steam now.

I hear the elite units expansion gives a ship called the HMS Victory, which is like a uber ship. I don't want to have to lose to every person to get the expansion >.>
Also, I'm getting these weird liney shadows on the soldier models.

How can I set it so that textures are generated from farther away? AKA I see Spain's soldiers with yellow hats, as I zoom in they turn brown and more detailed. I want that same hat from the distance where I see the yellow hats.
Hopefully there aren't too many people in Coquitlam, Canada who want the SF edition.

The only want to fix this bug right now is to set shadows to medium or higher.
Anyone who's played the final version know if the graphics and quirks in the demo are no longer there?

I told my friend I was looking for Empire: Total War, the moment I said that, this guy grabbed the last copy on the shelf. I said out aloud, "Oh damn!", then quickly followed him to the counter. Luckily, there were 3 more left copies left stacked in a corner of the counter.
So is it any good?
Is it worth the price?
