Currently still installing, but I'll go ahead and say it's definitely worth it. In other words, even if it cost 100 bucks, I'd still buy it.

Well facepunch seems like I won't get empire for awhile, my 4 year old rig just won't cut it. :( I seriously need to get a new beast rig to be able to play these current games at good frames..but I want to wait a bit longer, and I need to find the money to buy a beast rig.But don't worry I'll get the cash eventually...

I got two choices. 1) Take a 4 hour bus ride to grab this game, which I ordered off Amazon from my parents house. Since I forgot to set the delivery to my uni halls, but also risk her seeing these massive love bites which she hates seeing. -or- 2) got to a shop in town, 60 minute bus ride, and buy it AGAIN and simply return the other disk at a later date? Well typing like that kinda made it obvious..

I left it on to DL the whole night and luckily it finished at 8 this morning, also it went a lot faster around 4-5 AM, around 700 kb/s. Oh and the game is great, altough I havn't played it much yet.

750kb here, and from a US server. I wonder how long that will last.

As a student, I normally spend around ~£40 a week on alcohol. My plan is to wait until I get my weekly allowance (on Friday), buy my weekly supply of food and then purchase this beauty from Play.com. Unfortunately I won't have enough to do any drinking. I need a job. :(

Playing as the Dutch is awesome. My first move was to unite the country again by declaring war on the Spain, now I'm fighting the French while making my trade colonies more profitable.

Hmm, I wonder, is Switzerland and Romania on the playable countries list? Speaking of which, which countries are playable.

Yea, I looked through the files. It's going to be harder to change playable nations. I believe you have to extract the game files.

Yea, no lua files anymore.The lua file in# \steamapps\common\empire total war\data\campaigns\main is just for scripting the camerapan and the advice. However, there is a startpos.esf No clue how to open that.

In the other games it's Descr_strat.txt in Data\World\Maps\Campaign and then in one of the folders in there.

Also, rank fire totally rapes everything else. I was in a small skirmish with the Spanish just now, my line infantry mowed them down. Native Americans overran Moose Factory and I was cut out of America, was too lazy to send ships all the way there. :( Army of Dragoons > Mob Firelock Infantry. One last question, does anyone know how to get the population happy after you've just researched all the philosophical stuff?

I read somewhere that you can change your total monarchy to a constitutional monarchy but I din't experience that yet.
