Just besieged Berlin. Was outnumbered two to one, but as above, besieging gives you huge benefits. I got to make this. [URL=http://www.cubeupload.com][IMG]http://www.cubeupload.com/files/c96c00fort.jpg[/IMG][/URL] Minefields and stakes to stop cavalry flanks, and howitzers, mortars, and TONS of line infantry to stop anything from coming from the front. Lost 200 men, killed over two thousand, since they brought in reinforcements. The only reason I lost that much is because of their huge 24 lb guns firing at me the whole time and their veteran elite guard units managing to storm two of my trench walls and kill a bunch of my line infantry. By the way- does anyone know the screenshot key? I've been using printscreen, but that only allows for one at a time. And is there any way to look around when you're looking through the eyes of a unit?

I got this game a few hours ago. I find combat really hard for some reason, even though I'm playing on easy. Nearly all my units don't shoot, even with fire at will turned on, and enemies right in front of them. Game is epic though.

I basically just recreated Rorkes Drift, except with George Washington and Indians. All of my army was depleted, with no squad above 50 men, and a handful down to 5 men. I was besieging and didn't notice the Indians until it was too late. I was determined to save Washington but we couldn't retreat. I got to deploy defenses and had 2 units of cannon and a howitzer. Canister shot won the day, and when my guys ran out of ammo it was a great moment to see about 10 squads of 1-15 guys jump over the barricades and bayonet the surviving Indians. I took screenshots but I dont know where the folder is.

There are minefields in this game?

any solution for the white screen + crash bug when you end a turn? It pretty much ruined my American campaign, and I was about to conquer Canada... Regardless, multiplayer is really fun. I only lost twice so far, and both times it is because my ally crapped out on me (1st time my ally was routed nearly before I even engaged my enemy, 2nd time both the enemies came for me and my ally sat on his ass instead of attacking the flanks of the enemy that was marching at me) thanks a lot allies

Does anyone get a crash when they click-drag to merge understrength units together? It's damn annoying.

Pretty crappy.

So I was undecided until i played the demo. Motherfucking SOLD. Buying as soon as it's released in UK shops, anyone know when that will be?

I'm going deep into enemy territory with my elite expeditionary force and stay there a few rounds, waiting to be attacked. This force is comprised of men that have seen action since the earliest years under my rule as British Ruler. :)
